Brief Description

• Program Manager experienced working with cross-functional, Agile product development teams

• Focus of role will be Program Management leadership for Extreme’s next-generation Cloud SaaS platform

• Experience with cloud and platform SW development required; Cross-platform operating system and networking experience are desired

• 4+ years product of development experience in an Engineering environment

• Experience with portfolio management is desirable

The Program Management team at Extreme leads cross-functional teams to drive portfolio definition, alignment, and execution. The role spans Extreme’s entire, expanding product portfolio, including wireless, wired, and cloud platforms.
Extreme uses Cloud Management, Machine Learning, and Artificial Intelligence to radically simplify and secure the Access Network. Our Cloud-Managed Wireless, Switching, Routing, and Security technologies provide unrivalled flexibility in deployment, management, and licensing. Working with pioneering Controller-less Wi-Fi and Cloud Management, Extreme delivers continuous innovation at Cloud-speed that constantly challenges the industry norm, allowing customers to rethink what’s possible. Responsibilities include:

Provide Program Management leadership and support for cross-functional development teams (scope, schedule, budget)
Lead team in executing the development process
Works with team and leaders to identify program blockers before impacts are incurred
Executes best-in-class PM practices; focused Risk Management
Develop project plans, schedules, and resource strategies to drive projects to closure
Drive clear, concise communication across multiple levels in the organization across a wide spectrum of individual contributors to executive management
Provide regular updates to management to ensure appropriate exposure of issues and challenges
Work with management and development teams to define plan, track and communicate and escalate as appropriate
Drive day-to-day program activities to meet overall project objectives
Executes broad business initiatives/processes
