As a Program Manager, Recruiting Operations, you will drive high-impact programs to optimize recruiting infrastructure, tools, and processes. Must Have

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 5+ years of experience in recruiting, HR operations, or program management
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Deep understanding of full-cycle recruiting and talent acquisition strategy
  • Proficient with applicant tracking systems (preferably Workday) and other recruiting technology
  • Experience with data analysis and visualization (e.g., Excel or similar)
  • Strong communication, partner management, and presentation skills

Job Description

Impact

As a Program Manager, Recruiting Operations, you will drive high-impact programs to optimize recruiting infrastructure, tools, and processes. This role will lead cross-functional initiatives that improve efficiency, enhance candidate and hiring manager experience, and support scalable hiring solutions. The ideal candidate brings a strategic mindset, systems thinking and combines strong program management expertise with a deep understanding of talent acquisition systems and data.

While no two days are the same, you will design, implement, and manage recruiting programs and best practices such as sourcing strategies, employment brand, job descriptions and job postings, referral programs, pre-employment screening, and onboarding. Partner with recruiters, hiring managers, People Business Partners/Generalists, and executive leadership to identify hiring challenges and deliver scalable solutions. Analyze current recruiting workflows and identify opportunities to increase efficiency, quality of hire, and candidate satisfaction. Build dashboards, reports, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to track recruiting program success, hiring funnel metrics, and recommend data-driven improvements. You will collaborate with People Technology & Analytics, Marketing, Legal and Communications to optimize the use of recruiting technologies and ensure accuracy of external information (e.g., GEM, Workday, LinkedIn Recruiting, Careers Page). You will drive adoption of new programs, tools, and processes through effective communication, training, and documentation. Manage third-party vendors and tools related to recruiting services and technology. Lastly, maintain compliance with relevant employment laws and internal policies.

What You’ll Need to Be Successful

  • You have a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • You have 5+ years of experience in recruiting, HR operations, or program management
  • You have strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • You have a deep understanding of full-cycle recruiting and talent acquisition strategy
  • You are proficient with applicant tracking systems (preferably Workday) and other recruiting technology
  • You have experience with data analysis and visualization (e.g., Excel or similar)
  • You have strong communication, partner management, and presentation skills
  • You have a passion for process improvement, candidate experience, and building qualified, inclusive talent pools
  • You have the ability to travel 10% during peak recruiting seasons (fall and spring) as needed

Shipt considers candidates located near a Shipt office or workspace in Birmingham, San Francisco, or Minneapolis to be hybrid, which means that they have the flexibility to work from home (with leader approval) or at a Shipt office in order to facilitate the ability to innovate, collaborate, and spark team connections. In-office expectations will vary by role and leader. Certain roles may require in-office presence on a full-time basis. Other compensation includes eligibility for an annual bonus and the potential for restricted stock units based on role.

Pay Range:

Metro Areas of Boston, District of Columbia, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle and New York City:

$88,000-$176,000

All other locations:

$73,000-$147,000

Please note that the salary range above is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location.
