Job Description

The Programme Director leads the planning, execution, and successful delivery of multiple client programmes within a defined portfolio, ensuring they meet timelines, scope, and quality standards. This role maintains strong client relationships and operational discipline, working closely with leadership to translate strategic objectives into actionable delivery plans. The director drives execution across complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives, leveraging SimCorp One, a leading investment management solution used globally by financial institutions and equity funds.
Must Have:
  • Lead multiple client programmes from initiation through to live operations.
  • Ensure programmes meet timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Apply standardized processes, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Proactively manage risks, dependencies, and escalations.
  • Serve as a trusted point of contact for client stakeholders, including senior executives.
  • Maintain clear and transparent communication with clients.
  • Support sales and pre-sales teams by providing practical insight into programme feasibility.
  • Lead, coach, and develop programme managers and delivery leads.
  • Work closely with global delivery teams, product owners, and operations functions.
  • Promote knowledge sharing and cross-programme alignment.
  • Translate strategic objectives into actionable programme plans.
  • Provide insights and recommendations for portfolio optimization, resource planning, and risk mitigation.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Proven experience leading complex, multi-stakeholder programmes in SaaS, cloud, or technology environments.
  • Strong expertise in programme/project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid).
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive execution and solve problems in underperforming programmes.
  • Strong communication, reporting, and leadership skills in client-facing environments.
  • Experience managing multiple programmes simultaneously, balancing priorities, risks, and resources effectively.
  • Willingness to work on site in the office 2x per week as per our hybrid work model.

The Programme Director is responsible for leading the planning, execution, and successful delivery of multiple client programmes within a defined portfolio. This role ensures programmes are delivered on time, to scope, and to the agreed quality standards, while maintaining strong client relationships and operational discipline. The Programme Director works closely with the Global Head of Onboarding and the Head of Onboarding Americas to translate strategic objectives into actionable delivery plans, driving execution across complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives.

What You Will Be Responsible For

Key Responsibilities

Programme Delivery & Execution

  • Lead multiple client programmes from initiation through to live operations, ensuring they meet timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Apply standardized processes, methodologies, and best practices to ensure consistency and operational excellence across all programmes.
  • Proactively manage risks, dependencies, and escalations, providing timely updates to the Global Head of Onboarding and the Head of Onboarding Americas, and senior stakeholders.

Client Engagement & Relationship Management

  • Serve as a trusted point of contact for client stakeholders across assigned programmes, including senior executives.
  • Maintain clear and transparent communication with clients, ensuring expectations are met
  • Support sales and pre-sales teams by providing practical insight into programme feasibility, timelines, and delivery assurance.

Team Leadership & Collaboration

  • Lead, coach, and develop programme managers and delivery leads within the portfolio, fostering a high-performance, client-focused culture.
  • Work closely with global delivery teams, product owners, and operations functions to ensure seamless, aligned client experiences.
  • Promote knowledge sharing and cross-programme alignment to leverage lessons learned and continuously improve delivery practices.

Strategic Contribution

  • Translate strategic objectives into actionable programme plans, ensuring alignment with organizational standards and client outcomes.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to the Head of Delivery for portfolio optimization, resource planning, and risk mitigation.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, standardization, and delivery reliability.

  • Strong expertise in programme/project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid).

For New York City only: The salary range for this position is 200,000.00 - 250,000.00 USD. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including health care, leave, and retirement plans.
