This Project Management Associate role at Luxoft involves working with a leading Singaporean bank on a multi-year initiative to implement market-risk FRTB IMA by 2025. The role focuses on planning and managing technical deliverables, collaborating with various application teams, and overseeing technical dependencies. Responsibilities include risk management, stakeholder communication, ensuring solution design compliance, and coordinating testing and implementation activities to achieve a smooth production cutover.

- Ensure solution design complies with enterprise principles and standards.
- Manage application teams for enhancements.
- Ensure completion of SIT, UAT, performance/load, and security testing.
- Manage technical implementation plan across teams.
- Coordinate technical implementation activities for production cutover and support.
- Escalate issues impacting schedule and propose resolutions.
- 3-6 years experience in Project Assistant/PMO/PMA/Project Manager roles.
- Good technical and/or platform knowledge (Murex, Calypso, Wallstreet).
- Good business domain knowledge (e.g., Retail and Corporate Loans Origination).
- Experience communicating with technical stakeholders.
- Experience in the banking industry.
- Experience in large-scale, highly available application implementations.
- Experience in service-oriented technologies.
- Proven result-oriented with a focus on delivery.
- Experience in actual systems development work (coding, specs, testing).
- Good understanding and experience in software development cycle.
- Proficient in communicating with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Good problem-solving, analytical, synthesis, system thinking, and solutioning skills.
- Skilled in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Project description
Our Customer is a Leading bank headquartered in Singapore, implementing a front to back integrated platform for straight-through processing and risk management. This is a multi-year initiative where different projects run in concurrence across streams including new product initiatives, new entity roll-outs, and regulatory compliances. The project you will be working on is a multi-year initiative looking to implement market-risk FRTB IMA for the customer by 2025. This project is a great opportunity for you to gain or extend in-depth knowledge on FRTB IMA.
Responsibilities
- Plan technical deliverables (including any system enhancements and upgrades) to meet project's requirements within the allocated budget and schedule.
- Plan & collaborate across different application teams to manage technical dependencies of the solution.
- Plan, monitor, and manage risks/issues related to technical delivery.
- Provide status update related to technical delivery to the Project Manager.
- Partner with System Analysts and Business Solution Specialists to collate, understand, and finalize functional and technical requirements.
- Partner with Architects and Development Lead to ensure solution design complies with enterprise design principles, security, and control standards.
- Partner with the Development Manager in managing application teams to build the enhancements.
- Partner with Test Manager to ensure completion of System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), performance/load testing, and application security testing with quality results.
- Manage technical implementation plan across application teams
- Coordinate technical implementation activities across application teams to ensure non-event production cutover and adequate post-implementation support.
- Escalate issues that impact project schedule on timely basis and propose workarounds/resolutions.
Skills
Must have
- 3 to 6 years of experience in Project Assistant / PMO / PMA / Project Manager capacity
- Good technical knowledge and/or platform knowledge (e.g., Murex, Calypso, Wallstreet)
- Good business domain knowledge in at least one area (e.g., Retail and Corporate Loans Origination)
- Experience in communicating with technical stakeholders
- Experience in the banking industry preferred
- Experience in implementing large-scale, highly available applications or other large project implementations
- Experience in service-oriented technologies
- Proven result-oriented person with a focus on delivery
- Experience in actual systems development work, with prior coding, functional specifications, technical specifications, and systems development and testing experience
- Good understanding and experience in software development cycle
- Good communication with technical stakeholders, proficient in communicating with non-technical stakeholders
- Good problem-solving, analytical, synthesis, system thinking, and solutioning skills
- Skilled in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Nice to have
- Related professional/technical qualifications will be advantageous, although not mandatory.
