Position Summary:
Manages client-facing projects to implement solutions at client sites in Mexico, in accordance with the client contract and Statement of Work, to achieve client-defined success criteria. The Project Manager leads solution delivery projects from conception to successful transition to support and is responsible for complete and integrated delivery, including but not limited to clinical and technical consulting.
This position is available for individuals based in Mexico and individuals based in Brazil who wish to relocate to Mexico.
Your role:
You are responsible for planning, controlling, and coordinating solution delivery projects from definition to successful implementation, achieving project objectives, balancing schedule, cost, quality, and requirements, working with different stakeholders, and leading and directing teams. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Generate the project plan, in accordance with the goals and schedule established by management; specify project personnel, necessary resources, anticipated costs, risk assessment, and quality standards to be used.
- Control the project budget and progress, evaluate all project initiatives for feasibility, costs/benefits, and added value, take corrective actions when necessary, and generate appropriate reports.
- Lead the project, within the budget and program strategy, in terms of quality, money, time, information, and organization, monitoring progress and managing external resources.
- Direct employees and provide operational guidance, in terms of content and organization.
- Report on employee performance to the employees' hierarchical superior for evaluation purposes and make proposals for training.
- Manage more complex service improvement subprojects as a project leader, as well as manage your own project team, generally as part of a larger project.
You are the ideal candidate if:
- You have more than three years of experience in Project Management in the health technology industry and/or Software Implementation following PMI guidelines and methodologies (traditional project management).
- You have a proven track record of creating and tracking project schedules, assessing risks, determining necessary resources, managing costs/budget, and all communications with stakeholders, as well as serving clients in the healthcare industry (hospitals, clinics, etc.).
- You have experience working with project tracking tools such as MS Project, Jira, Asana, Monday.com, etc.
- You are familiar with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) solutions; experience with Tasy is a plus.
- You have an intermediate to advanced level of English.
- You are available to travel to client sites depending on project volume. Travel ratio approx. 30-40% of the time.
