Overview
The Digital Project Manager is responsible for the successful planning, execution, and delivery of digital and print initiatives across multiple accounts. Digital projects may include website builds and enhancements, web application creation, email marketing campaigns, data integrations, analytics implementations, and other digital-first programs. Print projects may include the development of brochures, calendars, banners, posters, and a variety of booth assets. The Digital Project Manager serves as the operational hub for the team, translating complex requirements into actionable project plans.
Responsibilities
Core areas of a Project Manager’s responsibilities include:
Business Knowledge/Operational Practices
- Gain a basic understanding of the medical education industry and the nuances of the pharmaceutical industry
- Comprehends assigned projects and expected deliverables, including the level of support/skill required to execute to p\-value standards
- Manages calendar holds for meetings, if applicable
- Assists in researching solutions
Individual Effectiveness/Job Knowledge
- Defines and manages project scope, schedules, and deliverables for digital campaigns and development projects
- Tracks progress against milestones using project management software (Monday.com) and proactively remove blockers
- Assists in obtaining vendor quotes and coordinating production/development, as needed
- Understands and implements projects with a customer-centric focus
- Maintains organized project documentation and ensures all assets are version-controlled and accessible
- Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of SOPs for digital project delivery.
- Research and recommend new digital tools, platforms, and vendors that improve efficiency or quality
Execution/Attention to Detail
- Optimizes vendor relationships and resources to maintain quality control and deliver high quality control print solutions
- Supports the management of deadlines and deliverables by working closely with internal departments, team members, external vendors, etc., to ensure timing for deliverables is appropriate
- Facilitates timely job completion by reviewing open jobs, gathering additional information, and escalating jobs as necessary
- Enters accurate time on a regular basis
- Leverages previously approved materials and latest guidance to streamline the development of new content
Communication
- Drafts and routes materials
1. to/from Editorial and Creative Services
2. for team review, obtain final approvals for upload/print/distribution
- Understand and incorporates key messaging into materials and communications, as directed
- Assists in providing clear communication across all internal teams (Clinical Services, Meeting Planning, Editorial, Creative Services, Finance) as well as external vendors
- Act as primary operational point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on project health, risks, and next steps.
- Lead kick-off calls, status meetings, and post-launch reviews with both internal and external teams.
- Reports on KPIs and campaign performance, translating insights into actionable optimizations.
- Optimizes vendor relationships and resources to maintain quality control and deliver high quality
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, IT, or related field.
- Travel as business requires
Digital Project Management Experience
- At least 3 years leading digital and print projects (web, email, app, data-driven campaigns, brochures, calendars, booth assets, etc.)
- Strong understanding of UX principles, front-end/back-end development processes, CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress), and QA best practices.
- Familiarity with marketing automation tools (e.g., Marketo, Salesforce Marketing Cloud) and analytics platforms (Google Analytics 4, Adobe Analytics, Tag Manager).
- Experience with Mirosoft Office Suite and Adobe
- Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.

Compensation Range: $59,850- $78,800 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
