Nasdaq Technology is seeking an Agile Project Manager Senior Specialist for the Capital Access Platforms Agile Portfolio Management Office (CAP APMO) in Bangalore, India. This role involves driving product execution within Corporate Solutions, specifically for the Nasdaq Boardvantage (NBV) solution. The specialist will ensure alignment, optimize value delivery, manage cross-team risks and dependencies, and promote continuous improvement using Lean-Agile principles. They will lead cross-functional global teams, build stakeholder relationships, and contribute to sophisticated technology solutions.

Must Have

  • At least 7+ years’ experience in Agile product development
  • At least 3+ years in a leadership or cross-team role
  • Experience working with senior leadership and handling stakeholder expectations
  • Strong understanding of Agile and scaled Agile frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, SAFe
  • Experience with Agile project management tools (Jira, Confluence or similar)
  • Proven experience managing complex dependencies and aligning multiple teams toward common goals
  • Exceptional facilitation, communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and foster collaboration in a fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor’s/Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or a related field

Nasdaq Technology is looking for a passionate Agile Project Manager Senior Specialist to join the Capital Access Platforms Agile Portfolio Management Office (CAP APMO). The CAP APMO is a governance and support organization that promotes effective portfolio execution and operational excellence. Using Lean-Agile principles and practices the CAP APMO intersects with Product Portfolio Management, Engineering, Strategy & Finance to ensure Agile execution aligns with high-level strategic objectives and maximizes the value delivered to the organization and our clients. You will be responsible for driving the product execution within the Corporate Solutions space, focusing on delivering client value through our Nasdaq Boardvantage (NBV) solution.

As the Agile Project Manager Senior Specialist, you play a pivotal role in ensuring alignment and effective value delivery across multiple work streams and teams within CAP Technology. Your focus will be to foster collaboration, remove obstacles and ensure that cross-team risks and dependencies are managed effectively. You will drive continuous improvement and ensure that delivery aligns with the strategic goals of the business.

As a Agile Project Manager Senior Specialist you will lead cross-functional teams across the globe, delivering critical solutions and services to market-leading Nasdaq Boardvantage solution. You will perform crucial program/project management activities and internal customer interaction, often working on-site building strong relations and trust with your stakeholders.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work within strong, expert teams delivering sophisticated technology solutions to a global client base. You will work with and learn from domain experts and have the opportunity to take on more responsibility and progress within the Agile Portfolio Management team. Besides working closely with your colleagues in Bangalore, you will also work closely with Nasdaq teams in other countries.

Focus Areas:

  • Execution: Assist with the definition of NBV initiatives, track initiative progress, facilitate synchronization events, remove impediments and mitigate risks to quarterly plan.
  • Flow Optimization: Establish metrics to measure the stability and predictability of Agile Teams in delivering against planned objectives, find opportunities to reduce waste within the value delivery system.
  • Cross-Team Alignment: Serve as the primary point of coordination across various product development teams, ensuring consistency in agile practices, prioritization and deliverables. Facilitate communication and alignment across teams to ensure that all work streams are moving in the same (accurate) direction.
  • Value Delivery: Ensure that all product development efforts are aligned with business goals and that value is delivered efficiently and effectively. Collaborate closely with Product Owners, other Scrum Masters and stakeholders to lead backlogs, dependencies, risks and resources!
  • Dependency & Risk Management: Identify and handle dependencies, ensuring that any blockers are addressed quickly. Help teams understand how their work fits into the larger business objectives and ensure smooth coordination between them. Proactively identify potential risks of issues across teams and develop strategies to mitigate or address them in alignment with the broader business objectives.
  • Agile Facilitation & Coaching: Promote and improve Agile best practices. Act as a mentor to teams to continuously improve Agile practices, delivery and communication.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with senior leadership and stakeholders to ensure their expectations are met and there is transparency . Help business owners evaluate economic trade-offs and provide insights to support data-drive decision making. Provide regular updates and insights into Team performance and delivery metrics!
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive a culture of continuous improvement by identifying areas for process enhancements, streamlining delivery and encouraging innovation across teams.

We expect you to have:
