We’re looking to hire a Public Relations Strategist III for an onsite opportunity in Los Angeles, CA. This is a 1+ year contract role with a global gaming and entertainment company known for its vibrant culture, creative freedom, and award-winning franchises.
In this role, you’ll join the Entertainment Communications team to lead innovative PR campaigns with a strong emphasis on music, while also supporting initiatives in animation and consumer products. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, represent the brand at high-profile events, and play a key part in award campaign strategy and execution.
Public Relations Strategist III Responsibilities:
Develop and execute strategic PR campaigns focused 80% on music and 20% on animation/consumer products.
Write press materials including press releases, pitches, alerts, and talking points.
Pitch and secure high-profile media coverage.
Represent the company at LA-based events and activations, with occasional travel as needed.
Lead PR efforts for a high-profile animated series awards campaign, including submissions and coordination.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Music, Events, Finance, Consumer Products, and Corporate Comms.
Maintain internal decks, coordinate travel, and deliver internal reporting and campaign analytics.
Public Relations Strategist III Qualifications:
Based in Los Angeles and able to attend in-person events and meetings.
Minimum 10 years of experience in Entertainment and Music PR.
Demonstrated success working with talent and executives in public settings.
Proven track record of earned media wins across top-tier outlets.
Strong writing, strategic thinking, and organizational skills.
Gaming industry experience required.
Comfortable in fast-paced, cross-functional environments.
Experience with campaign tracking, reporting, and stakeholder presentations.
