As a QA Project Manager, you will lead quality assurance efforts, planning, coordinating, and overseeing the QA lifecycle from test strategy to release. This ensures our games meet the highest standards of quality, performance, and player experience. The role requires strong project management, excellent communication, and a passion for games, bridging QA teams, development, production, and publishing.
Good To Have:
  • PMP, Agile/Scrum, or other project management certifications.
  • Familiarity with automation testing frameworks and build pipelines.
  • Experience with compliance testing (Sony, Microsoft, Nintendo).
  • Knowledge of analytics and telemetry for quality measurement.
Must Have:
  • Define QA strategy, scope, and test plans.
  • Lead, manage, and mentor cross-functional QA teams.
  • Define and lead DevQA strategies for game systems, development tools, pipelines, performance and platform compliance.
  • Establish best practices for Dev QA and ensure adherence across all teams.
  • Evaluate and suggest improvements to build pipelines.
  • Establish and utilize development processes, tools, and communication channels.
  • Define and establish optimal communication systems to deliver testing results.
  • Create and maintain QA schedules, budgets, and resourcing plans.
  • Track QA progress and provide regular updates to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Anticipate risks and propose mitigation strategies.
  • Partner closely with Producers, Developers, and Design leads.
  • Act as the key point of contact between QA, external vendors, and platform partners.
  • Facilitate clear communication and issue-tracking across all teams.
  • Champion best practices in testing methodologies, automation, and reporting.
  • Analyze QA metrics and post-mortems to drive continuous improvement.
  • 7+ years of experience in QA for video games.
  • 3+ years in project management or leadership roles.
  • Proven track record of shipping AAA or large-scale live service games across multiple platforms (console, PC, mobile).
  • Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, test planning, and defect management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
  • Experience managing outsourced QA vendors and distributed teams.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Passion for video games and understanding of player expectations.

Job Description

We are looking for a QA Project Manager to lead quality assurance efforts at Invoke. You will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing the QA lifecycle—from test strategy to release—ensuring that our game meet the highest standards of quality, performance, and player experience.

This role requires strong project management skills, excellent communication, and a passion for games. You will act as the bridge between QA teams, development, production, and publishing, driving alignment on timelines, priorities, and deliverables.

What you’ll do

  • Define QA strategy, scope, and work with your teams to develop the required test plans
  • Lead, manage and mentor a cross-functional QA teams (internal and external) to meet milestones and release schedules and foster their growth and efficiency
  • Consult with stakeholders to define and lead DevQA strategies for game systems, development tools, pipelines, performance and platform compliance
  • Establish best practices for Dev QA and ensure adherence across all teams
  • Evaluate and suggest improvements to build pipelines for faster and more reliable game builds and team delivery mechanisms
  • Establish and utilize development processes, tools, and communication channels to support shipping the game's features across multiple platforms
  • Define and establish the optimal communication systems to deliver testing results to the dev team
  • Create and maintain QA schedules, budgets, and resourcing plans
  • Track QA progress and provide regular updates to leadership and stakeholders
  • Anticipate risks and propose mitigation strategies to keep projects on track
  • Partner closely with Producers, Developers, and Design leads to align QA processes with development needs
  • Act as the key point of contact between QA, external vendors, and platform partners

What you'll bring

  • 7+ years of experience in QA for video games, including 3+ years in project management or leadership roles
