QA Specialist - Junior

SOFTSWISS is seeking a Junior QA Specialist to join their expanding Dedicated Team. The role involves testing new features in Production and QA environments, performing functional and non-functional testing, monitoring logs, maintaining test documentation, and analyzing automation reports. The specialist will collaborate with other teams to ensure overall product quality, contributing to a professional and value-driven culture.

Must Have

• At least 1 year of experience as a Manual QA Engineer (mainly in web projects)
• UI testing and troubleshooting using developer tools and Figma
• Experience with API testing
• Experience in creating and maintaining test documentation (checklists, test cases, etc.)
• Knowledge of various software testing techniques and methodologies
• English level: Intermediate+
• Proficient in Russian – both in written and verbal communication

Good to Have

• Prior experience working with logs
• Prior experience in setting up processes
• Prior experience working with Git
• Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS Tasks

Purpose of the role:

You will be responsible for testing new features in Production and QA environments, performing functional and non-functional testing, monitoring logs, maintaining test documentation, analyzing automation reports, and collaborating with other teams to ensure overall product quality.

Key responsibilities:

• New feature testing on Production and QA staging
• Function/Non-function testing
• Logs monitoring
• Creation and maintenance of test documentation (Test-Cases, Spec, Bug-reports and etc. )
• Analysis of automation bug reports
• Communication with other departments

Required Experience:

• At least 1 year of experience as a Manual QA Engineer (mainly in web projects)
• UI testing and troubleshooting using developer tools and Figma
• Experience with API testing
• Experience in creating and maintaining test documentation (checklists, test cases, etc.)
• Knowledge of various software testing techniques and methodologies
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
• English level: Intermediate+
• Proficient in Russian – both in written and verbal communication
