Job Summary

As an IQC Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving the quality of raw materials used in semiconductor manufacturing at Micron’s fabrication facilities. This involves managing IQC systems to prevent quality issues, collaborating with suppliers and internal teams to establish robust systems, accelerating electrical system deployment, assessing new material risks, defining purchase specifications, and managing statistical process control for shipping inspection reports. You will also lead continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to achieving Best-In-Class standards through global GAP analysis.

Must Have

  • Maintain and execute the New Material Integration Business Process and set up new material registration systems.
  • Define purchase specifications (e.g., material specs, storage and transfer conditions) in collaboration with suppliers.
  • Manage and configure the material acceptance system (eSupplier), including troubleshooting errors.
  • Oversee data management of shipping inspection records (Certificates of Analysis), implement SPC, and maintain transportation and storage conditions.
  • Act as the business process owner for changes in delivery conditions and responses to raw material quality issues.
  • Build strong relationships with suppliers and drive continuous quality improvement activities.
  • Promote BIC achievement through regular GAP analysis with global Micron teams.

JOB DESCRIPTION

As an IQC Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving the quality of raw materials used in semiconductor manufacturing at Micron’s fabrication facilities. These materials include silicon wafers, photoresists, gases, chemicals, metal targets, CMP slurries, and more. You will also manage IQC systems to prevent quality-related issues and ensure smooth material integration into production.

This role requires close collaboration with suppliers and internal teams to establish robust IQC systems, accelerate the deployment of electrical systems, assess risks when introducing new materials, define purchase specifications, and manage statistical process control (SPC) for shipping inspection reports. You will also lead continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to achieving Best-In-Class (BIC) standards through global GAP analysis.
