Job Summary
The LQA Lead will define and lead the localisation QA strategy across multiple projects, mentoring the LQA team and collaborating with development and publishing teams to ensure the highest localisation quality. This role involves identifying systemic issues, implementing long-term solutions, and driving improvements in testing processes, tools, documentation, and workflows. The LQA Lead will also manage direct reports, coordinate product information, and analyze trends to mitigate risks, acting as the central point of contact for all LQA matters.
Must Have
- Define and lead localisation QA strategy across all supported languages and projects
- Align LQA efforts with project milestones and localisation delivery schedules
- Identify systemic issues in localisation quality and implement long-term solutions
- Represent LQA in cross-discipline planning and decision-making
- Drive improvements in localisation testing tools, documentation, and workflows
- Mentor and develop the LQA team, including task delegation and performance support
- Oversee team work and act as primary point of contact for other disciplines and external partners
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define release strategy, delegate tasks, and maintain oversight of Frontier Requirements
- Provide people leadership and management to direct report(s) through effective communication, objective setting, feedback, coaching, mentoring and career development
- Determine priorities, create plans, and review product documentation for alignment with project goals
- Coordinate product information, identify problem areas, and analyse trends to anticipate and navigate risks
- Extensive experience in localisation QA, including previous experience at Senior-level
- Expert level knowledge of QA tools, procedures, methodologies and workflows
- Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Expert-level understanding of localisation workflows, tools, and standards
- Significant experience in test planning, risk assessment, managing priorities, cross-functional coordination and managing stakeholders
- Ability to drive innovation and continuous improvement
- Proven ability to lead QA strategy and manage people in a multilingual QA environment
Good to Have
- Experience with large-scale multilingual game releases
- Familiarity with internationalisation, accessibility, and culturalization practices
- Games industry experience and strong understanding of localisation pipelines in the games industry

Job Description

This role is offered on a full in-studio basis or a hybrid basis (minimum 3 days per week in the studio). We can provide a comprehensive relocation support package as part of any offer, should you need to relocate.
WHAT'S THE ROLE?
The LQA Lead will lead the localisation QA strategy across multiple projects if possible. The role will mentor the LQA team, collaborate with localisation, development, and publishing teams, and ensure that localisation quality meets the highest standards. The LQA Lead will drive improvements in localisation testing processes and act as the central point of contact for all LQA-related matters.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
- Define and lead the localisation QA strategy across all supported languages and projects.
