Job Summary

As a QHSE Employee, you will contribute to a safer and better working environment within SGS Search, part of SGS Benelux. You will be responsible for maintaining, improving, and securing the QHSE system, translating complex requirements into practical processes. Your role involves supporting colleagues in compliance, conducting controls, ensuring safety measures, and following up on improvement actions. You will also actively contribute to safety awareness and process optimization within the organization, working closely with a team of specialists.

Must Have

  • Ensure quality, safety, and environmental care aligns with the SGS Benelux QHSE system
  • Participate in or coordinate QHSE projects
  • Draft and maintain procedures and instructions for the quality manual
  • Support and partly draft the annual management review
  • Prepare, execute, and follow up on internal and external audits
  • Ensure workplace inspections and compliance with safety instructions
  • Ensure and record toolbox meetings
  • Promote a safe working environment and safety awareness
  • Contribute to formulating new quality objectives
  • Ensure actions towards suppliers and subcontractors
  • Support implementation of new laws and regulations
  • Support implementation of new standards or new versions of standards

  • Collegiate and communicatively skilled, also in writing

You will work within the QHSE team, part of Operations Support and more broadly part of QA and HSE of SGS Benelux. You will serve all business units of SGS Search. You will work closely with two direct colleagues within QHSE, the department managers, and about 200 specialists who are experts in their own field.

No two days are the same

As a QHSE Employee, you play a key role in monitoring, improving, and securing the QHSE system of SGS Search. You are the connecting link between policy and practice and know how to translate (complex) requirements into executable processes.

You support colleagues in complying with standards, perform checks, secure safety measures, and ensure that improvement actions are followed up. At the same time, you keep a close eye on internal processes and actively contribute to safety awareness within the organization.

  • Draft and maintain procedures and instructions for the quality manual

For this position, we are looking for someone with an HBO work and thinking level. Relevant work experience is a plus, but we attach at least as much value to motivation, interest, and learning ability. You recognize yourself in the following characteristics:
