Adtran is seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented, and technically skilled Reverse Logistics Spare Part Manager (M/F/D) to join their team in Meiningen, Germany or Gdynia, Poland. This role involves managing spare part depots, coordinating logistics, optimizing inventory, and supporting reverse logistics planning. The position requires a focus on customer needs and a high degree of automation, contributing to Adtran's innovation-driven environment.
Must Have
- Manage spare part depots and coordinate logistics transactions.
- Calculate material quantities for new service contracts or renewals.
- Define geographical supporting sites for spare material.
- Continuously review and optimize existing spare part depots.
- Assist in maintaining and improving spare part management processes.
- Determine delivery requirements for new RMA cases and support RL planning.
- Work cost-efficiently, especially regarding inventory value.
- Optimize depot network in alignment with Customer Service.
- Completed studies or vocational training in commercial or sales.
- Knowledge of reverse logistics processes and Adtran products.
- Experience with MS Office, SAP, MAX, and Agile.
- Strong analytical skills and experience in data mining and analyses.
- Good command of English language.
- Knowledge in project management.

Principle duties and essential functions
- Spare Part Depot Management
- Contact and interface for requests from SBX regarding new service contracts or renewals
- Calculate based on requests, technical and quality data the right quantity of material
- Define the geographical supporting site or depot for spare material.
- Arrange and coordinate all necessary logistic transactions to move the material
- Continuously review of all existing spare part depots and location to move out old and not needed material
- Use for spare part calculation an industrialized approach
- Process Support
- Assist the process owner in maintaining and improving the spare part management process
- Reverse Logistics Planning
- Determine delivery requirements for new RMA cases
- Support all RL related planning activities
- Work cost efficient in all areas especially related to inventory value
- Optimize depot network in alignment with Customer service
Knowledge, skills and experience required
- Completed studies or vocational training in commercial or sales areas
- Knowledge of reverse logistic processes
- Adtran product and component knowledge
- Experience with MS office, SAP, MAX und Agile
- Analytical knowledge
- Good command of English language
- Expertienced in data mining and analyses
- Knowledge in project management
