Job Summary
Adtran is seeking a part-time student to join their team in Gdynia, Poland, for a long-term paid internship. The role focuses on developing and maintaining network element management software for Adtran FSP3000. This full-stack position involves building responsive Angular-based GUIs and contributing to backend logic using modern C++ for secure, high-performance telecom systems. The student will work with various network protocols and participate in the full development lifecycle.
Must Have
- Student in Telecommunication, Computer Science or similar faculty
- Able to work at least 20 hours per week
- Understanding of C++ basics and object-oriented programming
- Interest in networking fundamentals and Linux environment
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, and Angular fundamentals
- Familiarity with modern Angular features
Good to Have
- Experience with RxJS, Angular Material, responsive design
- Knowledge of multi-threading, IPC, and network protocols
- Familiarity with Git, CMake, and debugging tools

We are looking for a Student to develop and maintain network element management software for Adtran FSP3000. This full-stack role involves building responsive Angular-based GUIs and contributing to backend logic in modern C++ for secure, high-performance telecom systems.
Responsibilities:
- Develop backend features in modern C++ for equipment management.
- Design and implement web-based GUI using Angular for intuitive network operations.
- Work with HTTPS-based secure interfaces and CLI tools.
- Integrate with network management protocols: REST, NETCONF (OpenConfig).
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and troubleshooting across front-end and back-end.
Requirements:
- Student of Telecommunication, Computer Science or similar faculty able to work at least 20 hours per week.
- Understanding of C++ basics and object-oriented programming (C++11/14/17/20).
- Interest in networking fundamentals and Linux environment.
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, and Angular fundamentals.
- Familiarity with modern Angular features (Standalone Components, Signals, Reactive Forms).
Nice to have:
- Experience with RxJS, Angular Material, responsive design.
- Knowledge of multi-threading, IPC, and network protocols.
- Familiarity with Git, CMake, and debugging tools.
