Job Summary

Kanadevia Inova, a global innovation leader in waste infrastructure, seeks a highly organised and proactive Workforce Management Specialist. This role involves coordinating site personnel and supporting operational logistics for successful project delivery. Based in Hinckley, Leicestershire, you will work closely with site supervisors and internal functions to maintain productivity and readiness across field operations. The specialist will allocate and mobilise field personnel, manage site support logistics, and ensure compliance with QHSE and internal policies, contributing to transforming waste into valuable resources.

Must Have

  • Allocate and mobilise field personnel to project sites in line with approved plans and operational requirements.
  • Maintain accurate and current workforce data in planning systems (e.g., WSP).
  • Monitor attendance, shift schedules, work hours, and standby coverage.
  • Coordinate travel, accommodation, and transportation for site personnel.
  • Arrange tools, equipment, and material delivery to ensure operational readiness.
  • Manage workwear and PPE inventory, distribution, and timely replacements.
  • Ensure full compliance with Kanadevia Inova’s QHSE requirements, internal policies, and external regulations.
  • Record and track incidents, deviations, and improvement actions in alignment with the Management System.
  • Collaborate with P&C, Finance, Spare Parts, and Technical Services to support personnel operations.
  • Act as Line Manager for blue-collar employees, providing supervision and guidance (where applicable).
  • Identify development and succession planning opportunities for the blue-collar workforce (where applicable).
  • Ensure compliance with Kanadevia Inova processes and procedures across the team (where applicable).
  • Associate degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related discipline.
  • Experience in heavy industry, ideally service type work and line management of technicians and operatives.
  • Demonstrable experience in manpower planning, workforce coordination, or field administration within industrial, construction, or manufacturing environments.
  • Proficient with workforce planning tools (e.g., WSP) and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong understanding of QHSE standards and onsite industrial or construction environments.
  • Experience working within a matrix organisation and cross-functional stakeholder groups.

Good to Have

  • ERP experience (IFS preferred) is advantageous.
  • Strong QHSE awareness and commitment to safe working practices.
  • Highly organised, reliable, and proactive in managing competing priorities.
  • Effective communicator with a service-oriented approach.

Job Description

Kanadevia Inova is seeking a highly organised and proactive Workforce Management Specialist to coordinate site personnel and support the operational logistics essential for successful project delivery. This hands-on role ensures the effective deployment of manpower, smooth execution of site support activities, and full compliance with workforce and operational standards.

Based in Hinckley, Leicestershire, you will be working closely with site supervisors, group leaders, and key internal functions, you will help maintain productivity, readiness, and continuity across our field operations.

We are looking for someone who has worked in heavy industry, ideally service type work, where the line management of technicians and operatives is required. There will be a large amount of coordination associated with supporting the planning and logistics for servicing works, so you must have been involved in mechanical type services including self-performance and execution in a back-room type role and also flexible to move into a site role if needed although that is not the primary duty.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Manpower Coordination

Additional Information

Salary between £40,000-£50,000 per annum d.o.e plus 3.5% annual bonus on base salary.
