Summary
Perform technical activities for the maintenance and installation of radar systems and electronic equipment, carrying out the replacement, repair or adjustment of components based on diagrams and technical documentation. Implement equipment installation and maintenance projects. Interpret projects, layouts, diagrams and electrical schematics, ensuring compliance with technical standards and applicable legislation.
Main Responsibilities
- Involves the installation, adjustment and maintenance of complex systems that are used to detect and track objects. This may include configuring antennas, processing units and display systems.
- The ability to diagnose problems and perform repairs on electronic subsystems is an essential skill. This may involve replacing parts or modules, recalibrating devices and performing tests to ensure that the equipment functions correctly.
- The interpretation of electrical schematics and other technical documents is fundamental to understanding the configuration of systems and the location of components. These documents guide the technician in carrying out installations and maintenance.
- Working on projects generally involves meticulous planning, from choosing the equipment to be used to drawing up the schedule for installation. Each project must be executed according to specifications and within defined deadlines.
- The ability to read and understand diagrams and layouts is essential. Understanding how equipment integrates within a larger system is critical for successful installation and effective maintenance.
- Technical standards (such as ABNT in Brazil) and relevant legislation are fundamental to ensuring that all work is carried out safely and effectively. This may include equipment certification and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Perform installation, preventive and corrective maintenance of radar systems and equipment in general. Conduct tests and trials to ensure the proper functioning of the systems, preparing detailed reports on the technical interventions carried out.
- Analyze and approve technical work monitoring reports, ensuring the quality and accuracy of the documentation.
- Describe procedures for testing new products and approve the technical reports generated.
- Interpret electrical schematics, identify causes of failures and evaluate the functioning of equipment according to technical specifications.
- Interpretation of Radar Diagrams: Interpret radar visibility diagrams.
Qualifications
- Technical Course in Electronics;
- Technical Course in Telecommunications;
- Basic Courses in Electrical and Electronics Areas;
- Notions of Software for Electrical Schematics and Layouts;
- Knowledge and Handling of Basic Measurement Equipment Used in Electronics Laboratory;
- Office Suite (advanced);
- English (intermediate).
