Job Summary
As a technological partner for major French and international companies, ALTEN is developing rolling stock projects for the railway sector. This role involves contributing to the creation of a cutting-edge rail transport solution. Responsibilities include managing functional requirements, specifying functional architecture, defining wired logic solutions, writing detailed software specifications, and participating in network integration tests.
Must Have
- Manage functional requirements and track their traceability
- Specify functional architecture
- Define a principle solution in wired logic
- Write a detailed software specification
- Write a functional test specification
- Define network interfaces by system
- Participate in network integration tests on systems involved in functional architecture
- Feedback on anomalies encountered in the software by development teams, and Verification/Validation
- Engineering degree in computer science or equivalent Master 2
- Significant experience (3-5 years) in control command in the transport sector
- Proficiency in diagram creation software, MBSE, and requirements management
- Ability to read electrical diagrams
- Knowledge of automation

Job Description
As part of activities carried out jointly with a major client in the railway sector, we are undertaking the development of rolling stock projects for numerous markets. These ambitious projects offer a unique opportunity for engineers specialized in rolling stock to put their expertise into practice and contribute to the creation of a cutting-edge rail transport solution.
Your responsibilities will include, among others:
- Management of functional requirements and monitoring of their traceability
- Specification of the functional architecture
- Definition of a principle solution in wired logic
- Writing a detailed software specification
- Writing a functional test specification
- Definition of network interfaces by system
- Participation in network integration tests on the systems involved in the functional architecture
- Feedback on anomalies encountered in the software by the development teams, and Verification/Validation
Qualifications
You are a graduate of an engineering school with a specialization in computer science or an equivalent Master 2. You have significant experience (3-5 years) in control command professions in the transport sector.
You master diagram creation software, MBSE, and requirements management. You know how to read electrical diagrams, have knowledge of automation. Proficiency in Control Build is a plus.
