The Management Controller (M/F) will report to the Financial Control Director of a Business Unit, focusing on account production and closing, financial analysis, budget elaboration, and cash flow management.

Must Have

  • Participate in monthly closings, ensuring completeness and accuracy of revenues and expenses.
  • Perform analytical operations, including cost allocation and analytical corrections.
  • Control intermediate accounts until final closing.
  • Analyze variances against N-1 and budget for P&L aggregates, proposing corrective actions.
  • Participate in internal management meetings and follow action plans.
  • Assist in preparing monthly activity reviews for General Management.
  • Develop budget preparation matrices and consolidate for global vision.
  • Actively contribute to the budgetary process with agencies and accounting services.
  • Participate in constructing provisional revenue and payroll.
  • Analyze variances between cash forecasts and actuals.
  • 3-4 years of professional experience in management control/financial control in the services sector.
  • Strong analytical and synthesis skills, pragmatism, and creativity.
  • Rigorous, reliable, methodical, good listener, good interpersonal skills, team player.

  • Appetite for Finance Information Systems (Excel, PowerBI, SAP).

Job Description

Reporting to the Financial Control Director of one of our Business Units (Equipment, Industry & Infrastructure), the Management Controller (M/F) position will cover the following main missions:

Account Production/Closing:

  • Be a stakeholder in the production of accounts;
  • Participate in monthly closings by ensuring the completeness and accuracy of direct and indirect revenues and expenses that are accounted for;
  • Perform analytical operations in addition to those of the CSP accounting team: cost allocation, analytical corrections, etc.;
  • Control intermediate sets of accounts until the final closing;

Account Reporting and Analysis, Economic Studies:

  • Analyze variances vs. N-1 and budget for the main P&L aggregates (focus EBITDA), being able to trace the source of the variance to propose corrective actions;
  • Perform all analyses within their area of expertise;
  • Participate in internal management meetings of the Business Unit with activity managers and follow associated action plans;
  • Assist the Financial Control Director in preparing the monthly activity review with the Group's General Management.

Forecasts / Budgets / Medium-Term Plan:

  • Develop matrices for preparing agency and site budgets and consolidate them to obtain a global view of the scope;
  • Actively contribute to the budgetary process with the agencies within their scope as well as with the accounting CSP (to obtain recurring budget information: depreciation plan / taxes / management fees, etc.);
  • Actively participate in the construction of provisional revenue and provisional payroll;

Focus on Cash Management:

  • Analyze variances between cash forecasts and actuals.

Qualifications

A graduate of a major business or engineering school (Bac+5), you have successful professional experience (excluding internships/apprenticeships) of at least 3/4 years, ideally in management control / financial control in the services sector.

We are looking for a person with strong analytical and synthesis skills, combining pragmatism and creativity. An aptitude for Finance IS would also be a significant plus (Excel, PowerBI, SAP,...).

You are recognized for being: rigorous, reliable, methodical, with good listening skills and good interpersonal skills. You enjoy teamwork.
