Job Summary

KAEFER UK and Ireland is seeking a Recruiter/Resource Planner to join their People and Development team on a permanent, full-time basis. This role involves managing the full life-cycle recruitment process for permanent and temporary weekly paid vacancies within KAEFER’s Industrial division across various sites and projects. The successful candidate will focus on high-volume recruitment while proactively utilizing existing resources and collaborating closely with Site Operations and HR teams.

Must Have

  • In-house or agency recruitment experience, ideally within Industrial Services or comparable industries
  • Detailed knowledge of Trades recruitment and associated certifications/qualifications
  • Knowledge of resource planning/allocation
  • Team player mindset with ability to establish positive, cooperative working relationships
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills with ability to pivot and re-prioritise
  • Knowledge of applicant tracking or onboarding systems
  • Ability to maintain a calm and professional demeanour under pressure
  • Awareness of UK employment legislation and best practise
  • Familiarity with a variety of sourcing channels and applicant tracking systems

The Opportunity

We are looking for a Recruiter/Resource Planner to join our People and Development team on a permanent basis. You will recruit for KAEFER’S Industrial division permanent and temporary weekly paid vacancies across specific sites and projects, managing the full life-cycle recruitment process from candidate attraction to offer. The focus for this role is to recruit at volume and pace whilst also working closely with Site Operations and HR teams to ensure existing resource is being fully and proactively utilised

How you will make an impact

  • Use agreed methods to create professional and engaging job adverts
  • Source candidates using a variety of proactive search methods to fill immediate need vacancies
  • Conduct an initial screen of candidates’ CVs and certifications before sending a shortlist of suitable candidates to the hiring manager for review
  • Liaise with hiring managers to get candidate feedback and convey that in a timely and constructive fashion
  • Work closely with our Site Operations and HR teams to ensure visibility of existing resource both in the moment, and to meet the needs of the business in future planned work
  • Highlight process improvements and take ownership of driving positive systems and process change
  • For permanent vacancies, manage the full life-cycle recruitment process from creation of the position and vacancy on Success Factors to verbal offer acceptance
  • Act as a trusted partner and expert to the hiring team throughout the recruitment process, giving particular consideration to employment legislation and best practice
  • Promote KAEFER as an employer of choice attending careers events, local colleges etc
