YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

You’ll oversee regional traffic operations to ensure efficient, cost-effective movement of goods in line with local regulations and global traffic strategy. This will involve:

• Develop and implement annual business plans for the regional traffic department while contributing to global traffic strategy.
• Negotiate contracts with local carriers and coordinate subcontractor activities as the main point of contact for execution.
• Manage departmental budgeting, staffing, and provide input to global leadership on financial planning.
• Monitor team and individual performance, set objectives, and take corrective actions to meet goals.
• Analyze and improve transport processes, conduct root cause analysis, and troubleshoot logistics challenges with cross-functional teams.
• Build organizational capability through training, coaching, and development planning for team members.
• Provide leadership by aligning departmental activities with company mission, vision, and values while motivating staff to achieve business goals.
• Continue developing personal capabilities through training, coaching, and professional growth activities.

HOW TO SUCCEED / YOUR PROFILE

We’re looking for someone who can come up with simple solutions to complex problems. To join us you need:

• 8 years experience in the field or 4 years if you have a BA in a similar field
• Intermediate to advanced experience around international trade both transportation experience and customs/compliance experience
• Experience in international transportation
• Worked closely or led processes with customs agencies
