Job Description

As Regional Vice President of Labor & Public Sector Sales, you will be instrumental in driving sales growth within the labor and public sector. Your responsibilities will include identifying and closing opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, and developing strategic outreach plans. You will also be responsible for attending conferences, preparing presentations, and ensuring successful client onboarding. This role requires a strong understanding of the healthcare and digital MSK solutions markets. You will collaborate with internal teams and work to ensure seamless client onboarding and support. Your efforts will guide entities toward reduced costs with positive clinical outcomes for labor and public sector entities struggling with a variety of MSK conditions.
Must have:
  • 5-10 years of labor and public sector sales experience

Sword Health is looking to hire Regional Vice President of Labor & Public Sector Sales, to join our team.  


As part of Sword Health’s double-digit growth, we’re starting to work with some of the largest labor and public sector entities in the country. We’ve just cracked the surface in this market and are looking for exceptional sales leadership to capitalize on the wealth of opportunity in this segment. In the role as RVP of Labor and Public Sector Sales, you’ll uncover, develop and close opportunities within Labor and Trust, state and local municipalities, by offering Sword’s digital musculoskeletal (MSK) solutions. Through your efforts, you’ll guide these entities toward reduced costs with positive clinical outcomes for labor and public sector entities struggling with a variety of MSK conditions.


What you'll be doing:

    • Attend labor & public sector conferences, trade shows and events as needed to spread awareness of Sword and build labor & public sector relationships.
    • Autonomously drive deals from initial discovery stages to win/close. 
    • Work with legal teams on contract negotiations and final signatures.
    • Find and cultivate new labor & public public sector leads, successfully converting them into qualified sales opportunities.
    • Drive new business growth within the assigned territory.
    • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in labor unions and public sector organizations.
    • Develop strategic outreach plans to expand market presence.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless client onboarding and support.
    • Thoroughly prepare for presentations and anticipate questions and objections.
    • Work with the implementation team to ensure a successful enrollment of the Sword Health’s MSK digital solutions.


What you’d need to have:

    • 5 to 10  years of labor & public sector sales relationships and experience.
    • Willingness to travel 50% of the time.
    • Expertise in healthcare, self-Insured employers, health benefits, digital MSK solutions, or  disease management.
    • Solid public speaking skills, easily speaking in front of groups and delivering presentations with confidence and authority.
    • Startup or digital point solution experience is a plus.


$276,611 - $420,611 a year

Base: $126,000 - $198,000
Commission: $126,000 - $198,000
Net equity value per year: $24,611

Our job titles may span more than one career level. Actual pay is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, location, market demand, and other factors. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base salary and any potential variable, bonus or sales incentives, and the Company’s estimation of the value of private company stock options, if applicable. The pay range is subject to change, future value of company stock options is not guaranteed, and compensation may be modified in the future.
