This strategic individual contributor role as a People & Culture Business Partner in India involves collaborating with business leaders to provide coaching, support, and strategic HR guidance. The role acts as a trusted advisor, manages employee relations, implements HR projects, and ensures compliance with legal frameworks. It requires strong time management and prioritization skills, working closely with senior leaders and P&C professionals across regions to improve work relationships, productivity, and retention.
Must Have:
  • Collaborate with business leaders to provide coaching, support, and strategic guidance.
  • Operate as a trusted advisor to Business Units and management.
  • Offer day-to-day performance management advice to people leaders.
  • Lead the initiation and implementation of HR projects.
  • Oversee large cross-functional change management projects.
  • Provide strategic input on business unit restructures, workforce planning and succession planning.
  • Identify training needs for business units and individual coaching needs.
  • Work closely with people leaders and employees to improve work relationships, boost productivity and retention rates.
  • Establish strong connects with employees to understand the organisational pulse.
  • Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues.
  • Develop and implement P&C related policies.
  • Ensure P&C processes are compliant with legal and regulatory framework.
  • Consult with line management and provide day-to-day HR guidance.
  • Demonstrate strong time management and prioritization skills.
  • 12 -15 years of experience in business partnering.

Position: People Business Partner

Department: People & Culture (P&C) / Human Resources

Work Location: Candor Techspace, Sector 21, Udyog Vihar, Gurugram

Reporting to: Head of HR, India

RESPONSIBILITY

  • Collaborate with business leaders to provide coaching, support, and strategic guidance to facilitate informed business decisions
  • Operate as a trusted advisor to Business Units and management, acting as a primary point of contact for internal stake holders. Build partnerships that deliver value-added services aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Establish ambitious HR goals through close collaboration with the business.
  • Offer day-to-day performance management advise to people leaders, including coaching, counselling, career development and managing disciplinary actions.
  • Lead the initiation and implementation of HR projects and garner buy-in from internal business leaders.
  • Oversee large cross-functional change management projects as project manager.
  • Contribute to HR Projects and lead organisation wide initiatives.
  • Provide strategic input on business unit restructures, workforce planning and succession planning.
  • Identify training needs for business units and individual coaching needs for people leaders.
  • Collaborate with P&C colleagues in headquarters and other offices on strategic and operational issues.

MANDATE

  • Work closely with people leaders and employees to improve work relationships, boost productivity and retention rates.

  • Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues with objective, through and effective investigations.
  • Develop and implement P&C related policies
  • Ensure P&C processes are complaint with legal and regulatory framework, both internal and external
  • Consult with line management and provide day-to-day HR guidance
  • Demonstrate strong time management and prioritization skills
  • 12 -15 years of experience in business partnering.

About the role:

The role is a strategic individual contributor role. This role is an integral part of the India P&C management team and will work closely organisation’s senior leaders. The HR Business Partner also known as People Business Partner will have opportunities to collaborate and communicate with P&C professionals in various other regions, including EMEA and APAC.

Work timings:

  • Location: The office in Gurugram is the primary work location.
  • Schedule: The position involves working five weekdays with 45 hours per week.
  • Weekends: Saturday and Sunday are designated days off.
  • Hours: Normal daytime hours with flexibility as needed.
