The Regulatory Affairs Specialist will conduct document, labeling, and layout checks for electrical products, create product-specific test plans, prepare conformity declarations, monitor legal changes, and collaborate with internal and external parties to ensure compliance with national and international regulatory requirements.

Must Have

  • Conduct document, labeling, and layout checks for regulatory and normative compliance, focusing on electrical products
  • Create product-specific test plans according to applicable regulations and standards, with a focus on electrical devices
  • Prepare and review declarations of conformity according to harmonized standards
  • Support compliance with national and international regulatory requirements
  • Continuously monitor legal changes and implement them within the company, especially in electrical engineering
  • Collaborate with internal departments, external testing institutes, and authorities
  • Completed studies in electrical or high-frequency engineering or comparable technical education with relevant professional experience
  • Extensive knowledge of national and international regulatory requirements and procedures, especially for electrical products
  • Proficient in relevant EU regulations for electrical devices (e.g., EMC Directive, Low Voltage Directive)
  • Precise and structured way of working in execution and documentation
  • High organizational skills and strong teamwork ability
  • Willingness for continuous further training and familiarization with new regulatory requirements
  • Very good German and good English language skills, both written and spoken
  • Proficient in MS Word and MS Excel

Good to Have

  • Initial experience in the TIC industry (Testing, Inspection, Certification) is an advantage

Job Description
