Job Description

The Sales Account Manager will be responsible for identifying and acquiring new customers in the German market, focusing on modern Adtran access technologies. They will build and maintain strong customer relationships, analyze customer needs, and develop customized solutions with the technical team. The role involves conducting product presentations, handling tenders, participating in industry events, and analyzing the market. This position requires close collaboration with the DACH team and regular reporting to management, with a focus on achieving sales targets.
Must have:
  • Technical or business administration degree or comparable training.
  • Several years of experience in technical sales, ideally in telecommunications.
  • In-depth technical understanding, ideally in telecommunications/network technology.
  • Customer-oriented mindset and proactive approach to customers.
  • Independent, results-oriented work style and team player.
Good to have:
  • Salesforce or alternative CRM platform knowledge
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and presentation skills
  • Willingness to travel.

Wir suchen einen hoch motivierten Sales Account Manager (m/w/d) zur Verstärkung unseres Adtran Sales Teams in München, Berlin, Meiningen oder Remote.

Dein Fokus liegt auf der Positionierung modernen Adtran Access-Technologien wie xPON, G.Fast und Faserüberwachungslösung (ALM/DPA), mit denen wir Netzbetreiber und Infrastrukturanbieter dabei unterstützen, leistungsfähige und skalierbare Netze aufzubauen.

Das wären Deine Aufgaben:

  • Eigenverantwortliche Identifikation, Ansprache und Gewinnung von Neukunden im Bereich Access/Metro.

  • Aufbau und Pflege von nachhaltigen Kundenbeziehungen

  • Analyse von Kundenbedarfen und Entwicklung maßgeschneiderter Lösungsangebote in Zusammenarbeit mit dem Technikteam.

  • Durchführung von technischen Einführungsgesprächen und Produktpräsentationen

  • Kommerzielle Bearbeitung von Ausschreibungen und Angebotsprozessen

  • Teilnahme an Messen, Branchenevents und Networking-Veranstaltungen

  • Markt- und Wettbewerbsanalyse zur Identifikation neuer Geschäftschancen

  • Enge Zusammenarbeit mit dem DACH-Team sowie regelmäßiges Reporting an das Management

  • Kontrolle des operativen Sales-Prozesses von der Planung und bis zum Reporting

  • Erfüllung der für die Region gesteckten Umsatz- und Geschäftsziele

Das bringst Du mit:

  • Abgeschlossenes Studium im technischen oder betriebswirtschaftlichen Bereich oder eine vergleichbare Ausbildung

  • Mehrjährige Erfahrung im technischen Vertrieb, idealerweise im Bereich Telekommunikation, Netzwerktechnik oder ähnlichen Infrastrukturbereichen

  • Fundiertes technisches Verständnis – idealerweise im Bereich Telekommunikation / Netzwerktechnik

  • Du lebst kundenorientierte Denkweise und Freude am proaktiven und zielgerichteten Umgang mit unseren Kunden.

  • Selbstständige, ergebnisorientierte Arbeitsweise, Verantwortungsbewusstsein sowie Teamfähigkeit.

  • Ausgezeichnete zwischenmenschliche Fähigkeiten sowie Präsentations-, Kommunikations- und Verkaufsfähigkeiten.

  • Grundkenntnisse in Salesforce oder in alternativen CRM-Plattformen

  • Sehr gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift.

  • Bereitschaft zu reisen
