Job Description

Adtran is seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented, and technically skilled Reverse Logistics Manager for a temporary parental leave replacement in Meiningen, Germany. This role involves overseeing spare part depot management for new installations and standard inventory, acting as a primary contact for project managers, calculating optimal material quantities, and defining geographical support sites. The manager will also coordinate logistics transactions, conduct regular depot reviews, support process improvement, execute reverse logistics planning, and ensure cost-effective operations while collaborating to optimize the depot network.
Must Have:
  • Oversee the management of spare part depots for both new installations and standard inventory
  • Act as the primary contact for Project Managers and SBX teams regarding installation requests, service contracts, and renewals
  • Calculate optimal material quantities based on technical specifications and quality data
  • Define appropriate geographical support sites or depots for spare material allocation
  • Coordinate all logistics transactions to ensure timely and accurate material movement
  • Conduct regular reviews of existing depots to identify and remove obsolete or excess inventory
  • Apply an industrialized approach to spare part calculations for consistency and efficiency
  • Assist the process owner in maintaining and improving the spare part management process
  • Execute delivery determination processes
  • Support planning activities related to reverse logistics
  • Ensure cost-effective operations, particularly in relation to inventory value
  • Collaborate with Project Managers and Spare Part Managers to optimize the depot network
  • Completed studies or vocational training in commercial or sales areas
  • Knowledge of reverse logistic processes
  • ADTRAN product and component knowledge
  • Experience with MS office, SAP, MAX und Agile
  • Analytical Knowledge
  • Good command of English language
  • Expertienced in data mining and analyses
  • Knowledge in project management

  • Spare Part Depot Management
