Job Description

In this role, you will manage all aspects of sales operations, including planning and forecasting, pricing, and analytics. You will provide key inputs into sales strategy, customer segmentation, process improvement, and business analytics, using strong analytical skills to perform data analysis and assist in smart decision-making. Responsibilities include tracking sales results, maintaining compensation plans, coordinating forecasting, identifying process improvements, monitoring sales reports, and building internal relationships.

  • BA/BS degree in Business, Finance or related area
Must Have:
  • Working closely with diverse user groups to deliver timely, accurate and actionable business information.
  • Track sales results versus individual objectives and maintain sales compensation plans.
  • Coordinate sales forecasting, planning, and budgeting processes.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for sales process improvement.
  • Monitor the accuracy and efficient distribution of sales reports.
  • Provide input to senior leadership in the development of sales incentive compensation programs.
  • Build peer support and strong internal-company relationships.
  • 3-5 years’ experience in Sales Operations.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and assist others.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong capability to develop clear action plans and drive processes.
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, decision making, organizational, time management, collaboration and communication skills.
  • Ability to produce high quality work with attention to detail and commitment to customer service.
  • Strong knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and Power BI.

POSITION OVERVIEW

In this role, you will manage all aspects of sales operations, including planning and forecasting, pricing, and analytics. As part of a fast-growing organization, you will provide key inputs into sales strategy, customer segmentation, process improvement, and business analytics. With strong analytical skill to perform analysis on data, you shall assist business in making smart decisions.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Working closely with diverse user groups including Sales & Business Unit management, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Legal to deliver timely, accurate and actionable business information
  • Track sales results versus individual objectives, maintaining and reporting sales compensation plans, annual and monthly revenue tracking and reporting, ad hoc reporting, and renewal tracking
  • Coordinate sales forecasting, planning, and budgeting processes used within the sales organization. Proactively monitor and strive to maintain high levels of quality, accuracy, and process consistency in the sales organization’s planning efforts
  • Proactively identify opportunities for sales process improvement. Works closely with sales management to inspect sales process quality and prioritize opportunities for improvement
  • Collaborate with sales management to identify and understand process bottlenecks and inconsistencies
  • Monitor the accuracy and efficient distribution of sales report, recommends revisions to existing reports, or assists in the development of new reporting tools as needed
  • Provide input to senior leadership in the development and administration of sales incentive compensation programs
  • Build peer support and strong internal-company relationships with other key personnel

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • 3-5 years’ experience in Sales Operations with related responsibilities and BA/BS degree in Business, Finance or related area (Desirable but not mandatory).
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and to train, guide or assist others to perform complex assignments
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task, handling multiple projects simultaneously, in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment.
  • Strong capability to develop clear action plans and drive processes with numerous interdependencies
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, decision making, organizational, time management, collaboration and communication skills
  • Ability to produce high quality work with key attention to detail. Strong commitment to customer service
  • Strong knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and Power BI
