This role involves managing an assigned territory, actively selling existing and new products, acquiring new customers, and participating in industry events. The ideal candidate has proven sales experience, industry contacts, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. The position offers an attractive product range, independent territory management, and team support.

Freelance Sales Representative or a permanent Field Sales Manager (m/f/d)

Area to be covered: North Rhine-Westphalia

Your tasks as a new crew member:

  • Support for our existing customers
  • Active sale of existing publishing products and placement of new releases on the market
  • Further development of the sales territory and competitor monitoring
  • Independent new customer acquisition in main and secondary markets
  • Participation in sales conferences and trade fairs

Your expertise is in demand

  • You have proven professional experience in sales or field service and bring contacts in the book industry, preferably in the children's and youth book sector
  • Business thinking and acting is a matter of course for you and drives you
  • Openness to new things, courage, creativity, and a willingness to shape characterize you, and you prefer to use your "hands-on" mentality and organizational talent for products you are passionate about
  • You bring initiative, assertiveness, and the will to succeed/close, as well as tact in sales conversations
  • You work independently, structured, and autonomously, and you are proficient in using common Microsoft Office products
