The Sales Support Generalist provides tactical and administrative support to Iron Mountain’s Commercial Sales teams, enabling sales professionals to focus more on customer engagement and revenue generation. This foundational role requires strict adherence to standard operating procedures, exceptional attention to detail, and strong data accuracy and system proficiency. By managing opportunity-related tasks, the DOC Support Generalist ensures seamless coordination across the opportunity lifecycle and contributes to continuous improvement in processes and workflows.
Your role in our mission
- Coordinate and manage day-to-day requests from internal customers, ensuring timely resolution or routing to the correct team.
- Complete opportunity-related tactical and administrative activities that support sales teams across the business.
- Research, consolidate, and analyze sales and customer data, including contracts, pricing models, and due diligence documentation.
- Provide updates, reports, and metrics to sales teams and stakeholders, monitoring SLAs and tracking progress.
- Collaborate effectively with Sales, Account Management, and Commercial teams across regions to ensure smooth workflow and communication.
- Identify and escalate process breakdowns while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
Valued skills and experience
- University degree in business, economics, or a related field (preferred), with at least 1 year of experience in sales support or global deal operations.
- Fluency in English is essential additional proficiency in French, German, Swedish, or Danish is a strong plus.
- Exceptional organizational skills, including time management, prioritization, and responsiveness to meet multiple concurrent SLAs.
- Strong attention to detail with proven ability to deliver accurate and complete documentation throughout the opportunity lifecycle.
Excellent problem-solving and adaptability skills, with the ability to learn new systems, methods, and processes quickly.
- Proficiency in Google Suite, Microsoft Office (especially Excel), and Salesforce.com (preferred), with a commitment to mastering Iron Mountain’s internal systems.
