Job Summary
Micron Technology is seeking a dynamic and technically skilled leader to manage and integrate the DX Engineering and Scheduling Innovation & Automation (SIA) teams. This role focuses on driving digital transformation, enhancing scheduling efficiency, and delivering automation solutions to improve fab productivity and cost performance. The manager will lead teams to deliver integrated solutions, collaborate with cross-functional partners, standardize digital workflows, manage projects, and foster innovation.
Must Have
- Lead and align DX and SIA teams to deliver integrated solutions for production efficiency and automation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional collaborators (e.g., OMT, IE, Planning) to identify bottlenecks and implement countermeasures.
- Drive standardization and systemization of digital workflows across manufacturing disciplines.
- Manage project timelines, resource allocation, and performance metrics (e.g., WPD, Q-time, RPA ROI).
- Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and knowledge sharing.
- 8+ years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing, ideally with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Experience in digital transformation, automation (e.g., RPA, MES), and scheduling systems.
- Familiarity with fab operations, constraint management, and production KPIs.
- Strong communication and partner management skills in both English and Japanese.

We are seeking a dynamic and technically skilled leader to manage and integrate two critical teams:
The DX Engineering team and the Scheduling Innovation & Automation (SIA) team. This role will be responsible for driving digital transformation initiatives, enhancing scheduling efficiency, and delivering automation solutions that improve fab productivity and cost performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and align DX and SIA teams to deliver integrated solutions for production efficiency and automation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional collaborators (e.g., OMT, IE, Planning) to identify bottlenecks and implement countermeasures
- Drive standardization and systemization of digital workflows across manufacturing disciplines
- Manage project timelines, resource allocation, and performance metrics (e.g., WPD, Q-time, RPA ROI)
- Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and knowledge sharing.
Preferred Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or relevant experience.
- 8+ years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing, ideally with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Experience in digital transformation, automation (e.g., RPA, MES), and scheduling systems.
- Familiarity with fab operations, constraint management, and production KPIs.
- Strong communication and partner management skills in both English and Japanese.
