Your Role

As a Backend SDE II, you’ll design, develop, and scale critical backend systems that power our interactive entertainment platform.

What You’ll Do

• Design & implement scalable RESTful services and APIs using Java + Spring Boot
• Build and own complex backend components in a high-concurrency, low-latency environment
• Collaborate closely with Product, Frontend, and DevOps teams to ship features at scale
• Lead efforts in high-level design (HLD) and low-level design (LLD) documentation
• Contribute to architectural decisions, code reviews, and continuous refactoring
• Optimize backend systems for performance, reliability, and fault-tolerance

What We’re Looking For

• 2-7 years of backend development experience, primarily with Java + Spring Boot
• Strong knowledge of OOPs, data structures, algorithms, concurrency, and multithreading
• Experience working with Relational (MySQL/Postgres) and NoSQL (MongoDB/Redis) databases
• Familiarity with REST APIs, microservices architecture, and system design
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (preferably AWS/GCP) and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with message queues like Kafka or RabbitMQ
• Solid debugging and problem-solving skills, with a passion for performance tuning

Bonus Points If You Have:

• Exposure to Firebase, Web Sockets, or real-time systems
• Experience breaking a monolith into microservices
• Worked in a high-growth startup environment
