AECOM is seeking an experienced and motivated leader for the role of Sector Manager - Geosciences and Remediation Services in Victoria. Must Have

  • Lead and inspire a high-performing team of 60+ professionals.
  • Drive technical delivery excellence and strategic growth in Victoria and Australia.
  • Introduce new ideas and implement advanced strategies for the GRS business.
  • Foster strong teamwork across Australia and New Zealand.

Good to Have

  • Relevant tertiary qualification.
  • Extensive experience (15+ years) in contaminated land and remediation.
  • Proven experience building, leading, and growing contaminated land teams or businesses.
  • Strong commercial and strategic judgment.
  • Deep understanding of regional markets, industry trends, and client needs.
  • Collaborative, people-focused leader who mentors and develops teams.

AECOM is looking for an experienced and motivated leader within the Victorian contaminated land industry, ready to accelerate their career leading one of the largest and most diverse contaminated land businesses in Australia and New Zealand. As Sector Manager – Geosciences and Remediation Services (Victoria), based in Melbourne, you will lead our Victorian team to deliver and grow a strong pipeline of transformative projects across markets including Energy, Defence, Transport and Water. Our Environment team delivers advisory and technical services across contamination assessment and remediation, approvals and permitting, environmental planning, and sustainability, working on projects spanning infrastructure, energy, transport and defence. You’ll be a leader within a multidisciplinary group solving complex environmental challenges alongside our technical specialists.
