Self-Hosted PTA Team Lead

CyberArk is seeking a skilled Software Team Leader to lead the design and development of a Privileged Threat Analytics product, part of the PAM Self-Hosted solution. This role involves influencing architectural direction, ensuring secure and high-quality code, and managing a team of engineers to deliver a robust, scalable, and secure solution. The leader will oversee the entire software development lifecycle, collaborate with stakeholders, and champion engineering best practices.

Must Have

• Lead end-to-end architecture, design, and implementation of a Privileged Threat Analytics product.
• Manage a team of software engineers across the entire software development lifecycle.
• Ensure on-time delivery of high-quality solutions that meet defined scope and standards.
• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to align development activities with product priorities.
• Mentor and support the team to foster a culture of continuous growth and learning.
• Champion engineering best practices including code reviews, automated testing, and high-quality design.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• At least 4 years of experience leading software teams in a product-oriented environment.
• 5+ years of hands-on development experience in Java or Python.
• Solid experience with agile methodologies and CI/CD practices.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to mentor and lead team members with varying levels of expertise.
• Skilled at identifying risks, tracking progress, and resolving complex technical challenges.
• Highly self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.

Good to Have

• Experience building solutions on AWS technologies (EKS, Aurora, IoT, EC2, IAM, Lambda, etc.).
• Background in developing enterprise-grade applications within an on-premise and hybrid environments.
• Experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on threat intelligence, insider threat analysis, or incident response.

• Lead the end-to-end architecture, design, and implementation of a Privileged Threat Analytics product.
• Manage a team of software engineers across the entire software development lifecycle, from architecture and design to deployment and monitoring.
• Ensure on-time delivery of high-quality solutions that meet defined scope and standards.
• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to align development activities with product priorities.
• Mentor and support the team to foster a culture of continuous growth and learning.
• Champion engineering best practices including code reviews, automated testing, and high-quality design.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• At least 4 years of experience leading software teams in a product-oriented environment.
• Passion for working with a diverse tech stack, including multiple development languages (e.g., Java, Python, C++, Typescript).
• 5+ years of hands-on development experience in at least one of the following: Java, or Python.
• Solid experience with agile methodologies and CI/CD practices.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to mentor and lead team members with varying levels of expertise.
• Skilled at identifying risks, tracking progress, and resolving complex technical challenges.
• Highly self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
