Job Description

As an Enterprise Account Executive at Alation, you will pioneer innovation in data analytics and business intelligence. You will serve as a strategic partner to clients, helping them unlock the potential of their data. This role involves maximizing potential and driving growth across the client portfolio, cultivating strong relationships as a go-to advisor. Collaboration with partners and navigating enterprise contracts seamlessly are also key responsibilities.
Must have:
  • 5-8 years of sales experience in Data-Related Enterprise SaaS Software Sales
  • Strong Sales DNA: Exposure to MEDDPICC, SFDC Management, Clari Forecast, and Value Selling preferred
  • Strong Sales Experience in the ASEAN region
  • Methodical understanding of the sales process
  • Strategic thinking and analytical skills
  • Excellent business acumen and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated project/stakeholder management skills
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience

Role Summary

As an Enterprise Account Executive at Alation, you will pioneer innovation in data analytics and business intelligence, driving impactful solutions beyond the confines of traditional sales. In this capacity, you will serve as a strategic partner to our clients, aiding them in unlocking the boundless potential of their data.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Maximize potential and drive incremental growth across our client portfolio, innovating sales in both new and existing accounts.

  • Cultivate strong relationships, serving as the go-to advisor for major customers.

  • Deliver commitments as well as building the success of our customers through collaboration internally and externally.

  • Collaborate with partners, contributing to collective growth and improvement.

  • Navigate the intricacies of large enterprise contracts seamlessly.

What you need:

  • Minimum BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • 5-8 years of successful sales experience in Data-Related Enterprise SaaS Software Sales (Preferably in Data Management, AI, BI , Analytics areas).

  • A strong Sales DNA: Exposure to MEDDPICC, SFDC Management, Clari Forecast, and Value Selling preferred.

  • Strong Sales Experience in the ASEAN region

  • Methodical understanding of the sales process from initiation to conclusion.

  • Strategic thinking, capable of analyzing needs and delivering solutions.

  • Excellent business acumen, strong problem-solving, and analytical skills.

  • Proven ability to work towards individual or team goals.

  • Demonstrated project/stakeholder management and organizational skills.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
