Job Summary
Toppan Merrill is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team. This role involves managing accounting operations, preparing and analyzing financial reports, overseeing the month-end close process, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience, proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and excellent communication and leadership abilities. CPA or CMA certification is required for this part-time, remote position.
Must Have
- Record daily transactions
- Prepare bank reconciliations
- Involvement in system improvement initiatives (e.g., Oracle bank reconciliations)
- Post recurring and reversing journal entries
- Post allocations and manage allocation process
- Manage month-end close process
- Prepare and review journal entries
- Prepare quarterly and annual audit schedules and assist with audit requests
- Ensure corporate policies and procedures are consistently applied
- 5+ years of experience
- Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication, leadership, and ability to mentor junior staff
- CPA or CMA Certified

Toppan Merrill has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Accountant to join our team. You will manage accounting operations, prepare and analyze financial reports, oversee month-end close, and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
Job Responsibilities:
- Record daily transactions
- Prepare bank reconciliations (requires segregation of duties from transaction recording)
- Involvement in the implementation of system improvement initiatives such as Oracle bank reconciliations
- Posting recurring and reversing journal entries
- Posting allocations and managing allocation process
- Month-end close process
- Prepare quarterly and annual audit schedules and assistance with audit requests
- Prepare and review journal entries
- Help to shorten the close cycle to meet needs of a public corporation
- Ongoing process improvement
- Ensure that corporate policies and procedures are consistently applied
About You:
- 5+ years of experience
- Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities are essential
- Excellent communication, leadership, and the ability to mentor junior staff are crucial.
- CPA or CMA Certified
