In the context of our development in Singapore, we are looking for a Senior Application Support Analyst (Capital Market IT). Our client has a global IT department (GIT) responsible for the development and operation of information systems and technological infrastructures. The position is attached to the Capital Markets IT (CMI) division, which manages information systems dedicated to capital market activities. The primary mission of IT is to "Run the Bank", ensuring the daily smooth functioning of systems. The role involves functional and technical eSales support, assisting Front Office Sales and Middle Office in using the bank's Sales workflow applications. These applications are critical for revenue-generating activities and Sales-Trading interactions.
Must Have
- Define and implement application monitoring.
- Manage user requests and coordinate technical teams.
- Supervise daily/monthly processes and batch completion.
- Resolve incidents for Sales, Middle, Back Office.
- Ensure rigorous problem management and root cause analysis.
- Verify Volume Credit and Markup calculations.
- Administer platforms with internal/external providers.
- Manage Straight Through Processing (STP) issues.
- Work in a 24/7 "Follow the Sun" environment.
- Apply internal policies and procedures.

As part of our development in Singapore, we are looking for a Senior Application Support Analyst (Capital Market IT).
Our client has a global IT department (GIT) that brings together all the teams responsible for the development and operation of information systems and technological infrastructures. Present in Europe & Africa, Asia-Pacific & Middle East, America, this department has more than 3,500 employees.
The position is attached to the Capital Markets IT (CMI) division, which manages information systems dedicated to capital market activities: Front Office booking platforms, Sales tools, risk management and regulatory reporting systems, valuation of financial products, etc.
The priority mission of IT is to “Run the Bank”, i.e., to guarantee the daily smooth functioning of systems, in permanent liaison with business users, infrastructure engineers, and application managers.
CMI teams are distributed between Paris, London, New York, Hong Kong, India, Singapore, and Montreal. The position, based in Singapore, offers a strong international dimension with distributed teams seeking to maintain the highest standards of quality and architecture.
Your MISSIONS
The role focuses on functional and technical eSales support, assisting Front Office Sales and Middle Office in using the bank's Sales workflow applications. These applications are critical as they are directly linked to revenue-generating activities and Sales-Trading interactions.
Application Supervision & Monitoring
- Define and implement, in conjunction with development teams, the necessary monitoring.
- Manage user requests requiring investigation and coordination with technical teams.
- Supervise daily and monthly processing with project, infrastructure, and production teams.
- Track and ensure the completion of daily batches, analyze and quickly resolve problems.
- Monitor application KPIs and produce regular reports to improve operational efficiency.
Incident and Request Management
- Provide Level 1 and 2 application support to users (Sales, Middle Office, Back Office).
- Take charge of incidents until their resolution, mobilizing the necessary teams to minimize business impact.
- Manage the backlog of user requests and ensure their processing.
- Properly document tickets with key information.
Problem Management & Continuous Improvement
- Ensure rigorous problem management: identification of root causes, post-incident follow-up.
- Collaborate with build teams to prioritize and permanently resolve problems.
- Contribute to the implementation of “monitoring as code”.
- Create and maintain a knowledge base in coordination with developers.
Functional & Technical Support
- Verify the correct calculation of Volume Credit and Markup.
- Ensure platform administration with internal and external providers.
- Manage STP (Straight Through Processing) issues.
- Work in a 24/7 “Follow the Sun” environment.
- Apply all internal policies and procedures.
- Manage client relationships (internal & external).
- Provide assistance to business and technical analysts.
Your PROFILE
This position requires a proactive mindset, focused on incident prevention, security, productivity, and continuous improvement of service quality.
Participation in weekend and holiday support rotations.
Your SKILLS
Required Experience & Skills
- Senior, with at least 5 years of experience (ideally in finance/banking) in application support and/or development.
- ITIL certification appreciated.
- Interest in capital markets (FX, Fixed Income, Derivatives, Equity).
- Good understanding of broker and clearing platforms (Tradeweb, Murex, DTCC, LCH/JSCC, etc.) and common financial applications (Bloomberg, Reuters…).
- Knowledge of monitoring solutions (ITRS Geneos, Qokpit, Elastic, Splunk, Datadog…).
- Technical skills in SQL, Java, Python, Unix/Windows commands.
- Proficiency in Unix/Linux scripting.
- Ability to manage SLA & KPI, client communication, escalations, risk analysis, and project execution.
- Taste for continuous improvement and automation.
- Additional knowledge appreciated: XML, PL/SQL, MQ, CFT, Control-M.
