Job Summary
The Services Design & Tools team, a strategic part of Centralized Managed Support Operations (CMSO), focuses on delivering exceptional Service Design and innovative technology solutions to empower Motorola Solutions' CMSO in exceeding customer expectations. This internship involves developing clean, efficient mobile and web applications to boost team productivity, creating automated test scripts for CMSO service delivery applications, and assisting in implementing new features. Interns will also participate in testing, debugging, collaborating within an Agile/Scrum framework, and contributing to technical documentation, while continuously learning new technologies.
Must Have
- Currently enrolled in a degree program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Foundational knowledge and experience in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Java, Python, C#, JavaScript/TypeScript).
- Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), data structures, algorithms, and software development lifecycle principles.
- Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills and a strong desire to work collaboratively in a team-based environment.
- Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.
- Ability to commit to a minimum internship tenure of 6 months
- Able to start April or May 2026

Job Description
- Application Development: Develop clean, efficient, well-documented, and scalable mobile and/or web applications to enhance team productivity.
- Automated Test Scripts: Create automated test scripts to streamline the testing of CMSO service delivery applications.
- Feature Implementation: Assist in the development and implementation of new features, modules, and services across our platform.
- Testing and Debugging: Participate in integration and system testing, identifying and resolving software defects and bugs.
- Collaboration: Work within an Agile/Scrum framework, actively participating in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
- Documentation: Contribute to the creation and maintenance of technical documentation, design specifications, and user guides.
- Learning and Growth: Proactively explore new technologies, tools, and methodologies to continuously improve skills and processes.
Basic Requirements
