Job Summary
Synechron is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Associate in NOC Support to ensure the stability, security, and performance of our network infrastructure. In this role, you will monitor network systems, troubleshoot technical issues, and coordinate incident responses to maintain high network availability. Your contribution will support the organization’s operational continuity and safeguard against potential security threats, ultimately enabling smooth business operations and optimal user experience.
Must Have
- Continuously monitor network performance, security, and health through monitoring dashboards and alerts.
- Detect, diagnose, and resolve network incidents in a timely manner, following established procedures.
- Escalate critical network issues with comprehensive documentation to appropriate teams.
- Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support including troubleshooting hardware, software, and configuration issues.
- Assist with network device configurations, patch management, and deployment activities.
- Maintain accurate records of incidents, actions taken, and resolutions in incident management systems.
- Generate and review reports on network health, performance metrics, and incident trends.
- Monitor for security threats, recommend preventive measures, and support security compliance initiatives.
- Collaborate with engineering and support teams to implement network upgrades and new solutions.
- Contribute to process improvements within the NOC to enhance efficiency and incident response.
- Minimum 2+ years in Network Operations Center (NOC), network support, or incident management roles.
- Direct experience monitoring and supporting enterprise-grade network environments.
- Familiarity with incident management processes, preferably following ITIL frameworks.
- Experience working with network hardware and troubleshooting complex network issues.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or related field; relevant professional experience acceptable as an alternative.
- Strong analytical ability to diagnose complex technical issues swiftly.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and operate effectively under pressure.
- Proactive and self-motivated with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Collaborative team player with a customer-focused approach.
- Aptitude for learning new technologies and adapting to evolving network environments.

- Participate in incident reviews and develop improvement actions
- Support deployment activities for network hardware/software upgrades
- Assist in maintaining network documentation, inventory, and configuration records
- Regularly update management on ongoing issues and incident status
Qualifications
