Job Summary
The Senior Business Analyst (Product Manager) leads product management initiatives from ideation to delivery. This role involves analytical, experimental, investigative, and testing efforts for new product development, coordinating all phases including research, design, financing, pricing, marketing, sales, and distribution. The manager develops marketing objectives, identifies customer needs, and influences key stakeholders to realize commercial opportunities. Responsibilities also include market analysis, sales forecasting, profitability analysis, and identifying new business and market opportunities.
Must Have
- Leads across the organization Product Management ideas and activities.
- Participates in or leads analytical, experimental, investigative, and testing efforts for new product development engineering.
- Coordinates all phases of new product development, including research and design, financing, pricing, marketing, sales and distribution.
- Develops overall marketing objectives and strategy and further product development.
- Works closely with customer base to identify key needs and appropriate product solutions.
- Acts as a funnel for product development ideas and knows how to influence key people to realize commercial opportunities.
- Performs analyses and prepares forecasts and recommendations in areas of product preferences, sales coverage, market penetration, market practices and sales trends.
- Researches market conditions to determine potential sales of a product and writes profitability analysis.
- Participates on project/program teams from design to delivery of fully developed products.
- Monitors performance and reviews schedule changes, cost adjustments or resource additions.
- Investigates facts and reviews problems during design and planning phases, displaying an understanding of products and their functionality.
- Provides timely and accurate information and status updates to functional leaders.
- Reviews marketing strategies including product direction, advertising, packaging, pricing, expense budgets, profit plans and future product development.
- Interfaces with engineers, designers, suppliers and customers to develop product requirements and specifications.
- Prepares and coordinates product introductions and updates.
- Identifies new business opportunities and creates appropriate business plans.
- Identifies new market opportunities (products/services, technologies, markets).
- Degree qualified in Computer Science, Business/Finance or related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
- At least 8 years of experience.
- Project Management or other related Certification.

- Prepares and coordinates product introductions and updates.
- Works closely with customer base to identify key needs and appropriate product solutions.
- Identifies new business opportunities and creates appropriate business plans.
- Identifies new market opportunities (i.e., products/services, technologies, markets).
- Education Required: Degree qualified in Computer Science, Business/Finance or related discipline, or equivalent work experience. Is working towards or has graduated with a post graduate degree in a related discipline.
- Experience Required: At least 8 years
- Special Qualifications: Project Management or other related Certification
