We’re hiring a Senior Cloud Database Administrator for an exciting hybrid opportunity based in Newark, DE with one of our highly respected clients in a regulated and dynamic environment.

In this role, you’ll play a critical part in managing mission-critical systems while collaborating with a forward-thinking team to enhance operational efficiency and system reliability. Evaluate and optimize database systems to ensure peak performance and long-term sustainability.
Implement technology strategies to strengthen operational stability and resilience.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve database standards, procedures, and overall performance.
Enhance observability across systems, enabling faster issue identification and resolution.
Review and refine support procedures to increase responsiveness and reduce team fatigue.
Assess current database management and observability tools to identify improvement opportunities.
Analyze existing system configurations to drive performance and reliability enhancements.
Develop dashboards using DBA and Dynatrace tools to centralize insights and monitoring.
Mentor team members on utilizing Dynatrace and its AI capabilities to resolve issues effectively.
Extensive hands-on experience with cloud-based database technologies including Oracle, SQL Server, Postgres, and Dynamo DB.
Deep understanding of Oracle RAC and Dataguard.
Proficient in Dynatrace and database performance monitoring tools.
Over 10 years of experience in technology operations or infrastructure management.
Strong background in strategic planning and aligning technology with business goals.
Up-to-date with industry trends, standards, and best practices.
Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
