As part of the Global Organic Social Strategy (GOSS) team, you’ll drive best-in-class organic social strategies that enhance artist and fan engagement while bolstering brand relevance across platforms. The role requires 1–2 days onsite per week in New York City.
Social Media Manager Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute organic social strategies for artist, album, partnership, and industry campaigns.
- Advocate for best-in-class organic social practices and act as a thought leader across the company.
- Lead fan engagement and go-to-market strategies, ensuring alignment with global and regional priorities.
- Stay ahead of emerging social trends, algorithms, and community behaviors to inform platform strategy.
- Analyze performance and sentiment using social listening tools to identify insights and optimization opportunities.
- Report on campaign and channel performance, providing actionable recommendations to leadership.
- Ensure all content meets brand safety, tone, and compliance standards.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with creative, artist, and business teams to execute real-time activations.
- Oversee on-site content capture and live coverage for artist campaigns, industry events, and brand activations.
- Maintain transparency and accountability across distributed teams and time zones.
Social Media Manager Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience leading organic social media strategy in entertainment, music, or global brand environments.
- Proven success developing innovative, multi-channel social campaigns for artists or creative brands.
- Expertise across Instagram, TikTok, X (Twitter), YouTube, and WhatsApp.
- Strong understanding of music fandom, creator culture, and digital community engagement.
- Exceptional analytical and storytelling skills to translate insights into impactful actions.
- Experience managing distributed teams and balancing creative execution with strategic oversight.
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, cross-functional settings with shifting priorities.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with a collaborative, proactive mindset.
- Experience in label environments or streaming platforms (preferred).
- Familiarity with content rights, clearances, and music-specific social policies (preferred).
