Job Description:\n\nAbout the Role: \nThis role supports risk adjustment (Burden of Illness) analytics by leveraging Cityblock data infrastructure to build, maintain and share standard operating metrics, financial models, ad hoc deep dives with key stakeholders. This position is an active thought partner and collaborator with several business areas within Cityblock including BOI Operations, Strategic Finance and the markets.\n\nResponsibilities: \n \n\nData Analysis Leadership:\n\n* Lead and conduct in-depth analysis of healthcare data to assess the prevalence, impact, and burden of various illnesses.\n* Utilize statistical methods and advanced analytics to derive actionable insights.\n\nTeam Collaboration:\n\n* Collaborate with a cross-functional team, including other analysts, researchers, and healthcare professionals, to ensure comprehensive and accurate data analysis.\n* Participate in team discussions and contribute to the development of analytical approaches.\n\nStrategic Insights:\n\n* Provide strategic insights based on data analysis to inform healthcare strategy and decision-making.\n* Collaborate with stakeholders to integrate analytics into broader organizational initiatives.\n\nData Visualization:\n\n* Develop clear and visually compelling data visualizations to communicate complex analytics findings to technical and non-technical audiences.\n* Utilize visualization tools to enhance the understanding of burden of illness data.\n\nQuality Assurance:\n\n* Implement and oversee quality assurance measures to ensure the accuracy and reliability of analytics results.\n* Conduct regular reviews and assessments of analytical processes.\n\nResearch Integration:\n\n* Stay informed about the latest research, literature, and industry trends related to the burden of illness.\n* Integrate relevant findings into analytical approaches and recommendations.\n\nProject Management:\n\n* Manage multiple analytical projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and deliverables are of high quality.\n* Provide regular updates on project progress to leadership.\n\nContinuous Improvement:\n\n* Identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation within the burden of illness analytics function.\n* Stay informed about advancements in healthcare analytics methodologies.\n\nRequirements:\n\n* Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field: computer science, data science, mathematics, physics, health sciences or related field\n* 5+ years of experience in healthcare analytics, with a focus on burden of illness analysis.\n* Risk Adjustment model knowledge in either Medicare or Medicaid (HCC, CDPS+Rx)\n* Exposure to healthcare data (payor claims processing, EDI, EHR, HIE, PBM)\n* Experience with business intelligence (data visualization and dashboarding) such as Tableau, Looker, Sisense\n* Proficiency with SQL for multiple databases (BigQuery, standard MSSQL, PL/SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Teradata)\n\nWe take into account an individual’s qualifications, skillset, and experience in determining final salary.
