Job Description

As a Senior Data Scientist at Wildlife, you will be a key player in the Performance Marketing operations. You will work with data from millions of users and thousands of campaigns. Your responsibilities will include solving complex problems, evolving marketing frameworks, and contributing to end-to-end processes. You'll analyze large datasets, improve performance measurement, create optimization tools, support decision-making with data products, and build experiment capabilities. This role requires someone impact-driven, comfortable with open-ended problems, and an excellent communicator, thriving in a fast-paced environment.
Must have:
  • Experience with data-intensive applications in the cloud (Spark, SQL, Python).
  • Experience applying statistical/machine learning techniques.
  • Excellent high-level communication skills.
  • Proficiency in written English.

Job Details

We're looking for a talented and passionate Data Scientist to join Wildlife's Marketing Tech team in São Paulo, Brazil.

Wildlife is one of the largest gaming companies in the world. As a Data Scientist, you'll play a key role in our Performance Marketing operations by handling data from millions of users, thousands of campaigns, and dozens of different channels, helping us to solve our most challenging quests.

What you'll do

  • Solve complex and open-ended problems that directly impact one of the most critical areas of the company;
  • Help to evolve and improve the performance of our current marketing frameworks, models, and data products;
  • Be part of a cross-functional team, directly contributing end-to-end to our processes, making sure our products are in production and working properly (final impact);
  • Work in a challenging and fun environment to produce exceptional results.

What you'll need

  • Experience working on designing and developing data-intensive applications in the cloud with technologies such as Spark, SQL, Python, Airflow, etc
  • Experience applying appropriate statistical or machine learning techniques in different situations
  • Excellent high-level communication skills
  • Proficiency in written English

Main Challenges

The team is responsible for designing, building, and evolving data-intensive applications. As a Data Scientist, you will help us to:

  • Make sense of large and complex data sets describing the behaviour of millions of players to support the Marketing organization;
  • Continuously improve our performance measurement framework, which includes estimating the lifetime value of our users to understand the long-term return on our Marketing investments;
  • Create and improve the tools to optimize our acquisition campaigns
  • Support the decision-making of our Marketing operations through high-quality data products and well-structured dashboards;
  • Build the capabilities to run experiments to continuously improve the performance of our creative assets and our Marketing operations;
