Job Description

About the Role

We're looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer / Senior Platform Engineer to help scale our developer infrastructure, increase platform reliability, and drive cloud-native best practices. You’ll work across CI/CD, AWS, Kubernetes, and internal tooling — enabling engineers to ship faster and safer.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives on automation, infrastructure as code, and developer enablement. We value people with a strong sense of ownership, solid troubleshooting instincts, and a can-do attitude who actively look for ways to improve both systems and processes.

What You'll Do ️

Cloud (AWS)

  • Manage a wide range of services including VPC, EKS, IAM, ECR, ElastiCache, Route53, etc.
  • Operate multi-account infrastructure with Organizations, Transit Gateway, and IPAM.
  • Support the team-wide transition to a cell-based deployment model for better isolation and scalability.

Kubernetes (EKS)

  • Provision and operate EKS clusters across accounts and regions.
  • Deploy ingress controllers, API Gateway, Karpenter autoscaling, and GitOps tools.
  • Maintain RBAC, Cilium, DNS caching, and network policies.

Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

  • Build and manage Terraform modules for multi-account environments.
  • Implement GitOps workflows for infrastructure changes (FluxCD, Helm).

Developer Experience

  • Build internal tools that streamline development.
  • Maintain self-service platforms and golden paths for app and infra delivery.

SDLC & Testing

  • Own CI/CD architecture and enforce pipeline reliability in GitHub.
  • Write tests for infrastructure, pipelines, and DevOps automation.
  • Script tooling in Python, Node.js, Shell, or Go.

Monitoring & Observability

  • Build dashboards, define alerts, and set up metrics/log pipelines.
  • Work with SREs to define SLIs/SLOs.

FinOps

  • Create effective tagging strategies and dashboards for cloud cost visibility.
  • Set up budget alerts and optimize compute usage across workloads.
  • Collaborate with engineers and SREs on cost-effective design decisions.

Security & Compliance

  • Manage IAM, SSO, permission sets, and secure access across environments.
  • Help meet ISO 27001 compliance goals.
  • Implement least-privilege access and Zero Trust networking.

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years in DevOps, Platform, or Infrastructure roles.
  • Strong experience with AWS, Kubernetes (EKS), and Terraform.
  • Solid programming skills (Python, Shell, Go, or Node.js).
  • Deep understanding of Git, CI/CD, observability, and GitOps approach.
  • Strong sense of ownership, analytical mindset, and can-do attitude.
  • Clear communication skills and willingness to document and share knowledge.
