Senior Azure Consultant

SoftwareOne and Crayon are seeking an experienced Senior Azure Consultant to design, implement, and optimize enterprise-grade cloud architectures using Microsoft Azure. This full-time, onsite role in Prague, Czech Republic, involves leading modernization projects, deploying and managing core Azure services, AKS clusters, and databases, and automating infrastructure with IaC tools like Terraform/Bicep. The consultant will ensure security and compliance, monitor environments for performance and cost efficiency, and provide technical leadership.

Must Have

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure in enterprise environments.
• Proven expertise in Azure Networking (VNETs, App Gateway, VPN, ExpressRoute, Firewall, Private Link).
• Proven expertise in Databases in Azure (Azure SQL, PostgreSQL, Cosmos DB).
• Proven expertise in AKS (Kubernetes fundamentals, scaling, ingress, service mesh).
• Proven expertise in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, ARM).
• Proven expertise in CI/CD Pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
• Proven expertise in Monitoring & Security (Azure Monitor, Defender for Cloud).
• Strong understanding of cloud governance, policies, RBAC, and cost management.
• Familiarity with hybrid connectivity (on-prem to Azure).
• Scripting experience in PowerShell and/or Python.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Azure Consultant with deep expertise in Azure Infrastructure, Databases, Networking, Kubernetes (AKS), and Infrastructure as Code (IaC). The successful candidate will play a key role in designing, implementing, and optimizing enterprise-grade cloud architectures aligned with best practices in performance, scalability, availability, and security.

What you’ll do

• Design & implement secure, scalable Azure infrastructure and landing zones aligned with best practices.
• Lead Migration Projects and modernize enterprise environments to Azure.
• Deploy & Manage core Azure services, AKS clusters, and databases (Azure SQL, PostgreSQL, Cosmos DB).
• Automate Infrastructure using Terraform/Bicep and integrate IaC pipelines with Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
• Ensure Security & Compliance through RBAC, Key Vault, policies, and adherence to ISO/GDPR standards.
• Monitor & Optimize environments for performance, cost efficiency, and provide technical leadership to teams.

What we need to see from you
