Job Summary
Located at the gates of Brittany, the Etrelles site is Thales' center of excellence in microelectronics, encompassing development, production, integration, and testing activities. As a Power Electronics Engineer, you will design DC/DC and AC/DC power converters, create electrical architectures, write detailed specifications, and perform electrical simulations. You will also validate and develop prototypes, ensure compliance with quality standards, and contribute to the continuous improvement of design checklists.
Must Have
- Engineering degree with specialization in power electronics
- At least 10 years of experience in power converter design
- Experience in C programming and microprocessors
- Expertise in automation and system control
- Proficiency in simulation and prototype validation
- Innovative spirit, dynamism, and ability to work in a team

Your daily life
Located at the gates of Brittany, the Etrelles site is our center of excellence in microelectronics, bringing together development, production, integration, and testing activities. The site designs and manufactures microelectronic modules as well as integrated electronic sub-assemblies capable of evolving in demanding environments.
As a Power Electronics Engineer, you will design DC/DC and AC/DC power converters, create electrical architectures, write detailed specifications, and perform electrical simulations. You will validate and develop prototypes, ensure compliance with the quality framework, and contribute to the continuous improvement of design checklists.
Your profile:
Is your priority to develop innovative solutions in power electronics? Do you have the ambition to be recognized as an expert in your field? Do you want to work on projects related to electronic warfare and radars?
You have an engineering degree with a specialization in power electronics and at least 10 years of experience in:
- Power converter design,
- C programming and microprocessors,
- Automation and system control,
- Simulation and prototype validation.
