Job Summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Presale Systems Engineer Intern for Summer 2026 to join their Land Mobile Radio Presales Team. This role involves designing world-class end-to-end solutions for public safety markets, utilizing mission-critical radio technologies like APCO P25 and LTE, alongside cutting-edge industry technologies. Responsibilities include managing pre-sale opportunities, implementing complex projects, defining technical solution requirements, preparing system bids, and collaborating with internal and external teams to meet customer delivery deadlines.

Must Have

  • Currently pursuing Bachelor's or Master’s degree with anticipated graduation during or after December 2026
  • Manages pre-sale opportunities and implementation of complex projects
  • Manages all aspects of technical solution, customer requirements, and expectations
  • Defines directions and requirements for timely implementation and quality of technical solutions
  • Directly responsible for the preparation of system bids
  • Works with operations and other internal and external developers

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Manages pre-sale opportunities and implementation of the identified complex projects; comprises all stages of the projects, starting from scope definition until final close of the project, involved in the entire Network Integration process
  • Manages all aspects of technical solution, customer requirements, and expectations within the projects
  • Defines directions and requirements to ensure timely implementation and quality of the technical solutions
  • Directly responsible for the preparation of system bids, taking into account the customer's needs and the equipment available, as well as any modifications required in conjunction with the product group
  • Works with operations as well as other internal and external developers of the networking products and systems to meet customer's delivery requirements and meeting deadlines

Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required. Employer work permit sponsorship is not available for this position.
