Job Summary
Coda is seeking a Senior Director of Global Communications & Brand to lead and execute its global communications and brand strategy. This role is crucial for enhancing Coda's reputation, visibility, and corporate identity among partners, regulators, media, and employees. The director will oversee Communications, Brand, and Creative functions, working closely with the CEO Office and commercial teams to manage complex narratives across diverse markets and audiences, driving growth and transformation.
Must Have

The Senior Director, Communications & Brand will lead the development and execution of Coda’s global communications and brand strategy. This role is responsible for strengthening Coda’s reputation, visibility, and corporate identity across all stakeholder groups, including partners, regulators, media, and employees.
Reporting to the Vice President, Corporate Affairs, the Senior Director will oversee the Communications, Brand, and Creative functions, and will work in close partnership with the CEO Office, Government Affairs, and the B2B and B2C commercial teams. The role requires a highly strategic communicator with demonstrated experience managing complex narratives across diverse markets and audiences.
Responsibilities:
Strategic Communications Leadership
- Develop and implement a global communications strategy that reinforces Coda’s leadership in digital commerce and builds confidence among external stakeholders.
- Manage Coda’s corporate narrative and reputation across commercial, corporate, and policy contexts, ensuring alignment with business priorities and values.
Corporate and Commercial Communications
- Lead the planning and delivery of corporate communications, including major announcements, executive messaging, and industry positioning.
- Oversee commercial communications in partnership with the B2B and B2C teams to support product launches, market expansion, and partnership initiatives.
Brand and Creative Oversight
- Set the creative vision for Coda’s corporate, consumer, B2B and internal brands, ensuring a clear and consistent identity across every channel.
- Lead the Creative function with a strong campaign mindset, driving ideas from concept to execution, shaping narratives, and developing standout visual and content directions that support both corporate priorities and commercial outcomes.
- Champion bold, insight-led creative thinking and push for work that is distinctive, relevant and tied to measurable impact.
Internal Communications and Employer Branding
- Partner with the People function and CEO's Office to deliver clear and consistent internal communications that connect employees globally to the company’s strategy and mission.
- Strengthen Coda’s employer brand and internal storytelling to attract, engage, and retain top talent.
Media and Stakeholder Relations
- Lead global media engagement, managing relationships with key journalists, analysts, and industry partners.
- Drive executive visibility through thought leadership, high-profile events, and external speaking engagements.
Leadership and Team Development
- Manage and mentor a multidisciplinary team of communications, brand, and creative professionals.
- Foster a high-performance culture that emphasizes collaboration, accountability, and excellence in execution.
Requirements
- A minimum of 12 years of experience in communications, corporate affairs, or brand leadership, preferably within a global or high-growth technology organization.
- At least 10 years of managerial experience leading international teams distributed across multiple regions.
- Deep media relationships (Financial & Tech) in APAC and other key markets: EU, LATAM, US, East Asia & China.
- Proven success in developing and executing integrated communications and brand strategies across diverse markets.
- Strong expertise in corporate narrative development, media relations, and executive communications.
- Demonstrated ability to lead creative direction and brand architecture initiatives.
- Exceptional writing, analytical, and strategic planning skills.
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional, and multicultural environment.
