Job Summary

The Process and Equipment Engineer (PEE) is responsible for maintaining the production line's health, handling issues, assessing risks, and managing fab startups and equipment releases. The PEE continuously works on optimizing processes and hardware to enhance product quality, improve yield, reduce costs, and maximize capacity output. Specifically, in semiconductor wafer WET processes, the PEE applies knowledge of both process and equipment to efficiently remove particles and contaminants using various chemicals, gases, and vapors. Through collaboration and continuous learning, the PEE develops technical and soft skills to contribute to Micron's memory products.

Must Have

The Process and Equipment Engineer (PEE) is responsible for maintaining the production line in a healthy state, responding to troubles, risk assessment, fab startup, and equipment release. Furthermore, the PEE is responsible for continuously optimizing processes/hardware to improve product quality, yield, reduce costs, and maximize capacity output (wafer processing capacity per hour). In the WET process of semiconductor wafer production, the PEE needs to have knowledge of both process and equipment to most effectively remove particles and contaminants, and to remove films using various types of chemicals, gases, and vapors. By collaborating with all departments and gaining experience, you can acquire technical knowledge and soft skills, contributing to better Micron memory products.

  • Hold a Bachelor's/Master's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering/Chemical Engineering/Materials Engineering.
  • Have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a process-related position in the semiconductor/manufacturing industry.
  • Be enthusiastic about learning, growth, and self-development.
  • Possess problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Be committed to achieving goals and persevere.
  • Possess excellent communication skills to collaborate with various parties to achieve final goals.
  • Possess the ability to manage time and handle multiple tasks.
