Senior Engineer - Materials

Valeo is a global tech company seeking a Senior Engineer - Materials. This role involves performing activities in compliance with Engineering discipline Development Plan, reviewing requirements, ensuring robust design/validation, supporting technical architecture, following standardization rules, and supporting design reviews. The scope includes design, integration, and validation of blocks/products, along with performing simulations, calculations, and tests. The engineer will report progress and escalate risks.

Must Have

• Perform activities in compliance with Engineering discipline Development Plan of his/her PG/PL
• Review Internal requirements, Customer Requirements, Specifications
• In charge of the robust design / validation in line with the economical targets
• Support technical architecture and standards assignments
• Follow Standardization rules
• Support design reviews, internal and with suppliers
• Perform or support Engineering discipline design simulations/coding/validation
• Perform or support Engineering discipline design calculations including worst case/statistical and support thermal studies
• Perform or support Engineering disciplines tests
• Reports the progress of his tasks
• Escalate risks

Accountable for :

His/her scope could include: all or part of the design, integration, validation of blocks / product

Complying with Engineering disciplines processes and Design Rules:

• Perform or support Engineering discipline design calculations including worst case/statistical and support thermal studies
• Perform or support Engineering disciplines tests

Management follow-up
